Today Xperia ROM is out for our device. Latest Sony Xperia Z5 ROM which is based on Lollipop 5.1 for our Cyanogen Mod 12.1, Xperia is well known and famous for customizing their User Interface, Being on default User Interface of CyanogenMod is boring, So use this port and Enjoy the new refreshed looks on your Device.... ​

• Only 3*3 patern lock works(Dont use others)
• Few Quick Times are not working(NFC)

Instructions and Guide

Steps for installing XPeria ROM [/COLOR][/SIZE]

If you are already on custom rom follow the below steps


1> Download the A[exXPeria rom zip and Gapps to your SD
2> Reboot to Recovery(TWRP Preferred).
3> Format System,data cache and Boot.
4> Install the ZIPS, wipe cache and Dalvik Cache.
5> Reboot and Voilla you have Xperia ROM on your Device



If you are on Stock rom follow the below steps to instlal XPeria ROM

1> Make sure you are on 4.3 firmware.
2> Download the TWRP recovery(Tar.gz), ODIN, ApeXperia ROM and Gapps from the download section, place odin and recovery on desktop and ApeXXperia ROM Gapps on your SD Card.
3> Boot device in download mode( Vol down + home + power ).
4> You will get Warning option, Press volume up ( continue ) and connect phone with PC.
5> Make sure Odin recognizes your phone ( There should be something like "0:[COM11]" in first box and it will be yellow )
6> Press PDA or AP(Incase PDA Is not available) and navigate to recovery.tar.md5(File we have placed on Deskptop)
7> Make sure Re-partition is unchecked
8> Press "Start" and wait few seconds
9> Device will reboot and you will have TWRP recovery on your device ( Boot with vol up + home + power)
10> Download the XPeria ROM and gapps on your SD card.
Follow the steps from first guide to flash the ROM

Alright flashed and working fine . will test for a few days and report . Just to mention when playing music when u pull from top and the notification music shows everything is white out. i cant see the name of artist and all . just album art. dont know its its the same as with other notifications also . thanks restoring apps now

Flashed the rom and gapps slim mini
Flashing in recovery takes like forever so be patient.

Nice bootanimation
Call sms wifi data working
GPS working
Camera , video recording and playing working

Home launcher is cool. With limited home settings .
Music , Galleryand video apps are awesome. Thanks for that.
Could not find the sony camera app not a problem for me.
Data was not working initailly so had to add the apn setting manually. this is the first rom i flashed i had to do this but Data works adter adding APN.

lacking or could not find it
Buttons in the setting don’t have option to customize like long press menu to recents.

got 2 random reboot just after picking up the phone and pressing home to wake up. will see if this continues m back to my nandroid back up.

First of all Thanks for this nice rom
All apps are good and working.
The only problem i am facing as it goes into bootloop whenever i am trying to install xposed framework otherwise it is working well (just using the rom since 12 hrs)

Well, Thanks for the review, If you do a clean install there are no Reboots....
I have fixed notification bugs and Quick tiles , check the next post :highfive:

There are two clocks, one is Alarm and Clock and other is only Clock, use only CLock to set Alarm

Its an issue with the Cm12.1 and it is EOL for it, so really cant help
