did you have to update your modem before flashing the rom?
no body does think to do these things. when they do, its because they get no reception.

just flash and see.

i always keep my bl and cp updated regardless of what rom ive used. its a habit of mine and this way i dont need to bother wondering.

Before or after flashing this rom, or it doesn't matter?

very smooth rom. Thank you!!
Everything works fine except one thing:
For some odd reason the spen command app keeps crashing.
Already tried reset (reconnect) spen and clear cache/data of spen command app.

did i miss something about a known issue with spen &custom roms, or is this a rom-specific problem ?

i had the same issue. what solved me the problem is that:flash the rom and then flash the vendor zip, immediately after the rom, in recovery. that at least for me solved me the problem of spen crashing

so basically like OP says.

the key factor is that you read.... :)
i always read. i did what it said that post, meaning that i installed the rom and then going to recovery AFTER a restart and flashed the vendor fix. this ALWAYS resulted in crashing various apps like spen. the op is not saying what i said. you are not paying attention.

VENDOR FIX FOR NOTE9 ROMS

This is required if you use any Samsung Gear Accessories

Download the Vendor Fix zip which can be found in the same location as the ROM download.

Copy the zip to your device.

Restart your phone into TWRP Recovery, install the zip.

Restart your device.

Thanks. This is me now. Looks like I would need to update. Do I do it through Odin?
If so, how would that fit into these install instructions?

  • Copy the ROM over to your device
  • Restart your phone into TWRP Recovery, and make a backup beforehand if desired.
  • Do a FULL Wipe (Optional, but recommended and especially recommended if you are having issues)
  • Install the ROM, and restart your phone.
Before you follow the instruction. update your bootloader and modem to the latest and as provided by this dev. Then you're good to go

After testing this ROM several time, i found that sometimes when i try to take a video, the camera crashed for no reason, but after some times, it works without problem. May i know why?
