Did a clean flash of 1.5. Everything works well except OK Google doesn't work. And I get the message about Google crashing every time I boot my phone.
Awesome...I always do a clean flash...
My Google works fine, however I get the same messages Google app keeps crashing... but still works...I don't really care much about it, I used to have TGP for a while now and Google only used to crash when open maps... but now with 1.5 I get the message like you... as soon as the phone boot.
Try using Google in despite the fact that crashes should still work...
Let me know... also flash 1.6 kernel cheersScreenshot_20191002-145453_Settings.jpg

Okay I'll try to get this right.

Dirty flash
Boot into TWRP by powering off, then hold Vol Up, Bixby and Power buttons until you see the Samsung logo.
Make nandroid backup.
Select Wipe
Then swipe right to "factory reset". At the top it says this wipes, data, dalvik and cache.
Install ROM.
Don't complain.

Clean flash
Backup apps using Titanium or Samsung Smart Switch.
Boot into TWRP by powering off, then hold Vol Up, Bixby and Power buttons until you see the Samsung logo.
Make nandroid backup.
Select Wipe
Select Advanced
Then select dalvik, cache, data and system.
Install ROM
Restore apps using Titanium or Samsung Smart Switch.
both ways you described are technically clean flashes.

There is only one thing that spoil this rom it's the opening by fingerprint after reboot. It's very comfortable but I can't use fingerprint for the bank app. Is there anyway to disable it while I'm flashing the rom, and fill manually the password after rebooting?
If it's can be done it's will be perfect rom.

HI all,
I tried to search for this but could not find anything. I hope you can point me in the right direction.
I flashed Modem and Rom onto my N9.
The first boot runs well.
After a reboot, I can see the lock screen for a second and then the screen goes black. this repeats then it reboots at some point.

Edit: this only occurs when I try to set up a pin/pattern
When i try to setup Fingerprint i get into a loop as well Create Pattern => Select option => Create Pattern => Select option => ... endless.

Thanks for the help in advance.

I was sure I formated it all.. must have missed some.
Thanks....
but in the the roms aroma setup, there is mention of what type of flash you want. you can also manualy wipe data in twrp aswell. then if you are still having issue, there might really be an issue with the rom.

is this the 1st custom rom you have flashed on your device?

I flashed 1.6.0 today...

Google don't crash anymore...

If you flashed 1.6.1 and Google keep crashing, uninstall Google app, flash back 1.6.0 kernel, reinstall Google from play store

No more crashes...

Cheers

I second this. Would be great to have this as an option in aroma to preserve the banking apps
