Is there by chance a way to get a CDC module compiled? or maybe into the kernel? I have a Proxmark I could use with the stock rom, but the module seems missing on this rom.

My S8 was rooted with hacked firmware but the bootloader was still locked.

You should update that Kernel lol.. V 1.4.0 is already out with the driver you needed as well

I can't say much for the rom because of all the bloat it installed (no disrespect intended) but the kernel is running nice. Things are very smooth and snappy with some really god battery life on the stock, debloated firmware. I would love to see this rom updated without the carrier bloat like my U1.

I assume this rom should work with all north american 986 devices with an unlocked bootloader. I'm on a canadian G986W

I look forward to giving this rom a test run

Yes, once you unlock it it's permanent. No going back.

unlocking bl itself doesnt root device so u need to do it urself after unlocking unless the rom includes root
