Hi, I bought Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5g from Malaysia. There is no 5G network in Malaysia yet, I moved to Hong Kong and registered 5G sim card but the phone cannot get 5G connectivity, also the samsung pay is still the Malaysia version, I cannot add Hong Kong cards in the samsung pay.

Will the above problem be solved if I load Hong Kong firmware to change the CSC using Odin? I checked in sammobile the firmwire is available but the PDA version differs. Can I still proceed? or is there any other option to resolve the problems?

Successfully updated to v.4 of this ROM for my N9860.

Problems with registering screen lock FP/ password/ PIN/ pattern & face unlock etc.
Phone just freezes @ every screen lock setup attempt then restarts after a while.

How to resolve this issue?

(Flashed the vbmeta disabler; I deleted previous screen lock passwords & face unlock data; deleted cache & dalvik; cleared Samsung biometrics data + cache - but not helped me).

hi, i have and had the same issue. updated to august patch via odian . now ui 3.1 crashes by swipping right. fixed by installing another launcher. windows launcher to be exact.

I had to go back to stock ROM, lost all my internal storage data in the process.

Now switched to China Stock ROM (from BRI), seems better - avoiding rooting again for now.

You might be able to just flash the CSC . Then wipe if no chances happen. I Kno if I flash the Verizon csc it'll change bootanimation.
