So I've tried installing both weeklies available, but regardless of which I use, it seems I have no mobile data connection at all (neither 3G nor LTE). I've tried manually entering in the APNs with no luck, but it appears that on either one of the weeklies, the device serial number does not appear. On the IMEI info page, it states the ICCID as DUMMY_NV_ICC_SERIAL, and IMEI SV as Unknown.

I've done a wipe and even formatted /system and reinstalled with the same result. Data was working fine on CM12.1.

Carrier is Boost.
Great report!!

You don't have a logcat do you?

Let me know where I can locate it and what information you need (or removed) from it and you'll have it once I have some time to reflash over to the 1/20 weekly.
Enable Developer Options: Settings -> About Phone -> Tap "build number" about 10 times.

Next: Settings -> Developer Options -> Take a Bug Report

It will take longer than you think it will. Then get it to me somehow. I throw mine onto google drive, but however you can get it to us is great.

Ok, did some digging around, the "ICCID as DUMMY_NV_ICC_SERIAL, and IMEI SV as Unknown" is a red herring I think. For CDMA phones (sprint is CDMA) you don't have an ICC or an IMEI.

Still digging. Thx for the log.

I must not have realized that; all other roms I've used show at least a serial number and ICCID. I thought all LTE services require a SIM even if the SIM is internal and non-removable, like one of the old iPhone's re-programmable internal SIM.

I just realized though, that in that bug report, I was connected to wifi so let me know if you need another one off wifi to see if there are any LTE connection errors that don't appear in the report I sent previously.

The screenshots below are from a working CM12.1 rom.

You should still have the MEID, right? See how the IMEI and MEID are the same? As of november 2016, it doesn't copy the MEID to the IMEI anymore.

I need to go poking through and see what updates have been made since 13.0 to telephony.

Good to hear that the 128G chips work with the s3!

What brand did you go with?
My microcenter 64gb came up as corrupted, so I bit the bullet and bought a cheap class 10 pny 128gb from Amazon 39.99 after reading the reviews for the similarly priced SanDisk.
. It came the next day, and showed corrupted.

Both chips were recognized in TWRP and windows (didn't try Ubuntu). So I did a low level format but still no joy.

Of course I was playing around with kernels, etc. So I had to download the image and Gapps (my backups were on the SD card).

I dirty flashed the latest, and the card was recognized, along with everything else.

Whatever you did to fix TWRP fixed a lot more.

Now to go play with outside kernels.

Thanks again for supporting this classic.

Sent from my SPH-L710 using XDA Labs

Anyone get LTE working on virgin mobile? I couldn't get it on lineage. Want to come back to octos tonight! Been running the last cm build (12/25) for a few because it worked.

Let us know if it works. Some people have been having problems on d2spr, I'm starting to think a problem was introduced recently, it's good to know that the 12/25 build worked!

Did you flash the APN fix r2 for boost then dirty flash ROM again? I flash the ROM then gapps then APN fix then I boot. After first boot I dirty flash the ROM again and I have data. I'm on virgin mobile BTW @madbat99

Virgin APN fix: http://www.mediafire.com/?q6h7bq567d6fsxp

Boost APN fix: http://www.mediafire.com/?shc6256cpb5c6rb

I use this method for all ROMs lollipop and above for d2spr even latest N builds as of today.
