Some information you should know..

• This is a full Note7Fe port with android version 8.0
• If you want to report a Bug, read the F.A.Q First Then provide a logCat OR LoggingKit.zip with detailed explanation
• Read the instructions and the F.A.Q Before installing the rom or posting a reply.
• You are not allowed to use this base, if you want to make rom, "DIY"
• Any sort of File Kanging will be reported without hesitation.

Hey A8 Community, This is my first project for this device, more yet to come, you all might have question Why N7FE and not N8 S9 or any newer port ? Simply said, it is too early for me and the current state of oreo. there is some important stuff that needs ironing out myself before introducing any other new roms . N7FE Struck a great balance between a stable port, and a feature rich one. i have also thrown in alot of additional stuff you can check below.


RULES OF POSTING : READ everything before commenting, And especially the install steps, the rom has been tested thoroughly for a long time, so if you have an critical issue like not booting or no sim, you missed the instructions, posts that are irrelevant to this project will be ignored(Constructive criticism is welcomed). If you do face a new bug however, dont just say "hey bug here" provide more information, and a LOGCAT, bug reports without logcats will most likely be ignored.

1. ensure you have LATEST TWRP (3.2+)
2. Download and copy the ROM to your device external SDcard (preferred)
3. Wipe everything (SYSTEM,DATA,CACHE,DALVIK and preferably Internal storage all together)
4. Flash the ROM.ZIP
   VERY IMPORTANT
5. Once u flash rom.zip and u see boot animation reboot your phone by hold volume down + home + power
   This is needed to have deodexed Oreo roms work (this is required after clean flashing the rom only)
   DONT FLASH MAGISK BEFORE FIRST BOOT !
6. Setup your rom and READ the F.A.Q for more information.
7. If you picked no root, now is a good time to flash later magisk.zip after boot

Good idea to read this F.A.Q While the rom is installing

Q : Where is bixbyVoice ?
A : Not included in this release

Q : I dont have root help plez
A : Install superSU or magisk, if you picked SU in aroma, install su apk

Q : Phone took alot of time to boot, and is very laggy
A : pay attention to install steps and reboot if you flashed magisk

Q : There is SIM popup that keeps coming to ask me for restart
A : you DID NOT follow the instructions, Reinstall the rom and pay attention

Q : I dont see any EDGE panels after installing
A : Reboot the phone

Q : How is battery Life ?
A : With some tests and some cycles, it will be better than stock due to optimzations

Q : What to do after the rom is setup ?
A : Go to samsung apps, let the phone update everthing

Q : My phone does NOT boot help pls

lol sorry if I didn't give much detail, the rom still needs to settle down on my phone for a few days

The rom is good, but I have a couple of problems.

1. Some apps aren't in full display mode, so they look in 16:9 and not in 18,5:9

2. I can't set italian language in keyboard settings, i tryed to download it, but a pop-up tell me something like "impossible to download italian language"

3. When I'm on desktop the nav bar is hide, if I touch for two time the left point it is show. The problem is that I always hide the nav bar when i'm using an application, so ****inue to hide and show the nav bar isn't comfortable

Just hold the power and volume button at the same time and the phone will turn off make sure you do a full wipe not internal memory.

the rom installs perfectly, but it won't let me boot. I've done every step twice (including the hard reset after installing).
after it boots up, shows a "signature verification error" (I don't know if that is literally what it would say in english, cause my phone is in spanish by default)
does somebody know how can I fix it???

Really want to try this but after complete wipe (including internal) SM-A530W will not boot. Attached log.

Save the log and upload it. I think we're having identical errors. The log will be saved in the same directory as the ROM zip. Let's get them the logs so they can fix it. I am having what seems to be a flawless install as well but can't get past the boot logo. Not animation, logo.
