No, you have to flash the 1.17 HBOOT first in the firmware thread, and then flash. If you've already flashed, wipe your /cache partition before booting.

Yeah thanks i already tried it and it didnt work oh well back to ics ,just wanted to test if it would work lol

Ok so after trying all ics rom I decided to come back to gingerbread
So I tried cm7 for the first time and sometimes I get it little slow while scrolling in app drawer and switching homescreen

And big problem is that fringe app...... When I do video call the opposite person will see my inverted video

Any fix for these please

This ROM won't be updated anymore because Cyanogenmod 9 is out. All development is focussed on that.

Super, I'm with you with that bug. I have a data only plan so I make & receive calls with voip technology (skype, groove ip, sipgate with native sip calling features or csipsimple). The sound will move to the left earphone once I plug in an earphone - especially with skype. Sometimes, either I can't hear the other party on a call at all OR it will be very distorted and will sound like some twitching or cricket(the animal) sound - this applies to all voip calls. This is consistent with your observation that the bug exist with or are related to sip technology with voip. I too didn't have that problem with the sense roms. I hope this gets some attention.

and can i replace the libaudio.so from sense to cm7 to make it working proper

Probably not. Its a sense lib. If its interchangeable everything would be working by now

This is my first time to flash the rom. I have htc mytouch 4g with 2.2.1 S-off and rooted. Software 1.17.531.2. I have installed Rom manager and 4EXT Recovery. Can I copy the rom and flash. I feel afraid because the file is smaller than Ice Glacier. Thanks

If you wanna install CM7 you must downgrade back to a GB Firmware with Hboot 1.17 via the PG58IMG.ZIP

Sadly no, if Kmobs kept the device tree open for the public for gingerbread, I'm pretty sure it'd be getting fixes more.

Do we know why he closed it? I know Kmobs is in Med School so I'm surprised (and thankful!!!!!) that he updated this rom for as long he did, lol.
