Android Ice Cold Project


AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!

Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.

If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Marshmallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.

Update- Clean flashed with open_gapps-arm-7.1-nano-20161111.zip version installation went fine with usual startup wizard crashing couple of times other than that everything is fine thank u for opening New AICP thread :highfive:

I haven't found any such issue, Anyone can use this Rom as daily driver . Thanks @csendre @SilviuMik for this great rom .

Anyone who has issues with setup wizard flash it without gapps, boot into the ROM then reboot and flash gapps.

after 1 week it became more stable and less problematic . first I install build 25.11.2016 by csendre without gapps and then dirty flash 27.11.2016 by SilviuMik. then Gapps and Google pixel experience 3.5.
there was problem with volume key control change to media and lock screen battery set TEXT without icon but this problem was disappeared itself after 5 day.
I only have problem with weather on status bar , in cLock widget settings and provider to find and use.
I install remix kernel and did backup/restore by TWRP tryout. works ok. .
thanks to all who made this rom,. MM had more problem then N for me, yet.

big thanks to your work from germany :fingers-crossed: . Everything runs fine. Good performance, great conditions und low battery drain. I think one of the best rom´s since i use it in my 9195.

Does it work on CM14.1 ? Also, if i remember from past SIM contacts on second one was a problem. That is why I keep my contacts on 2 Google accounts , one for personal and one for work.

Importing contacts from sim cards doesn't work on most cm based ROM I think I suggest you back them up with Google account
