Yeah, look through the cataclysm settings. There's one called "long press power for camera" or something.
Typically, when a rom does something different... There's a setting for it. If they included a settings app/section specific to the rom, it's best to look through there.

That's not a cataclysm feature. Go to settings - display - and uncheck "press power button twice for camera".
This rom is great but I'm having problem with this phone and the GPS when I use maps or TomTom the trajectory always goes off .I tried different roms and I always have the same problem with this phone.sorry I tried asking in q and a but no one answers I'm about to change phone before I kill myself on the road if I can't fix this issue .I had the razr,razr hd ,lg g2 ,nexus 5 ,lg g3 and never had this happen.

provided that there is no hardware issue which noone can judge from here, i can tell that this is my navi device as well using maps and sygic, in car with bluetooth gps and o motorbike with built in gps and i have no complaints. absolutely greatly working.
why i post this is that after you made sure that there is no hardware issue ( measure reception strength by comparing to another device side by side ) it's well worth to troubleshoot. good luck :highfive:

Yeah thats true, the GPS performance of the N6 is better than any device that I have ever owned. The gps locks in less than 10 seconds even after a fresh rom install. Also the number of satellites that it locks onto is more than any other device.

What do you mean "trajectory"? Your location is correct but the direction of has you facing is wrong?
I've noticed after a few flashes Maps has asked me to calibrate my compass. If you skip that when it asks, maybe that's the cause.
Otherwise, I'd get a tester like z-device tester (just happened to be the one I downloaded and verified worked) and test your hardware. Specifically GPS and compass.
I've never had any issues with this phone while navigating.

I was having this issue as well. It would lock fast like normal, but if I would turn the screen off while navigating it would lose GPS connection after a few minutes. It seemed the issue didn't present itself if I left the screen on which was weird. It happened on this ROM as well as PN. It hasn't happened for awhile though. I have begun using a different kernel since then so that may have something to do with it. I've also updated radios as well. Was on 27R and moved to 32R.

I've never used either of those. My phone should be using stock doze behavior. I would assume Google would not allow doze to cause navigation issues.

Open maps... And do the silly compass calibration dance and see if it faces the right way...

if you device has the stock vanilla OS latest from january installed yes, you can flash this (it's the mod) over and you get the same like flashing the full rom which this is not of course LOL.
full rom has the advantage of the aroma installer which lt's you exclude system apps you don't need and it's size is around a GB.
just head back to AFH and choose the correct directory, they're close togehter so you just clicked that one without recognizing probably.

clear app data in settings > apps > gmail > storage
if that does not help, uninstall and re-install gmail (updates if system app ) and restore from titanium backup but don't backup the current state. if you have no such thing like helium or TiBu just set it up, accounts should survive and the rest is not that much

The app data would still be there. Would I just have to grab those apps from the Play Store and business could resume as usual?

atl4ntis, I have tried all the roms. Before I switched to cataclysm another rom (not saying which but I do find this situation a bit ironic) I had been using was unstable and unusable for me at the time yours was a rock. I am very happy here.

Both Wear Speaker and Mini Dialer for Android wear have the ability to end calls from the watch. Neither one are working for me. I emailed the devs of the apps. As it was recently stated, if a developer's work is closed source, that is his prerogative and only the kernel source is required to be presented in the OP. However, you would be hard pressed to prove original development should it ever come to question.
This whole Original Development vs Android Development is very silly. In fact, going forward, all newly added devices are doing away with it altogether and this od vs ad will soon be a thing of the past. Where your rom gets placed is nothing to get upset about or hurt over. It is no indication that "you're not good enough" or that your work isn't worthy.
The concept behind an original development section was to have a separated area for firmware that was a first of it's kind or state of the art improvement with original works. If it is not a first of it's kind or some extreme beneficial improvement, it stayed in Android Development.
So if any of you are approached by the staff of the site and it's "original works" comes into question, don't go rallying up the troops in your thread to make you feel better about it? That does nothing but cause a ruckus like what you have here and it certainly won't be tolerated.
Keep doing what you do, everyone will still enjoy your works despite which area of the page they will clip/tap and like I said: Original/Android Development separation is a thing of the past going forward.

Hello everyone,
one of the strongest points of Cataclysm is the approach "don't fix what ain't broken".
Of course the features need to be coded, they need to be innovative and bug free, but still that approach is very important aswell.
Long ago i wrote a post which explained how Cataclysm is made and that it only differs few files from stock firmware.
While coding wise the changed files were very few, 9/10, i had to "prepare" the stock firmware to "accept" those files.
That caused some issues:
- unnecessary changes on system
- firmware had to be deodexed and this have always brought up unknown results and errors due to this process
- gapps issues
- need of deep testing new modified firmware even if Cataclysm code was untouched
- slower releases on big changes like dalvik-->art etc etc.
Today i'm bringing this to a whole new level as you can now just copy those few files directly over a stock firmware/rom.
Had to do crazy stuff coding wise but my dream come true, this is huge.
I understand many people don't like changes or underestimate the flexibility this will bring, but we're on XDA, we create stuff, we think different, we do new things, this is development.
If i didn't think outside the box Cataclysm would've been just another "rom" with the same stuff syndrome.
Introducing Cataclysm Mod.
Cataclysm Mod is a small zip, 30Mb ish, which will convert your stock firmware to Cataclysm seamlessy, no wipes are even needed.
Every future Cataclysm will just be a small zip, like those delta updates you used to love.
While i'm calling this a Mod, we're still talking of a fully featured firmware or as many call it, a ROM.
I don't like this "mod" name though but it will help the transition, also i've faith you'll help here the people who won't understand how to install this.
If you're wondering what are the advantage of it, well it's simple:
- no more fiddling with big zips,
- no more deodexing issues
- focus only on code and features
- more bug proof then ever
- way faster updates on new sources
- no more betas on new sources due unnecessary changes, it will just work
- supporting more devices would take minutes only (N5P/N5X soon)
- first clean boot will take seconds only.
- more /data space available.
- 100% legal as it doesn't contain any proprietary stuff.
This whole new flexibility comes with a small cost though.
Three features have been removed, little ones, the previous not working ones have been included now, like every per-app settings (Wake/Led/LockscreenNotifications).
You may need to setup them again, but now they're backuppable!
Force encryption will be still disabled, you can enable it by yourself though.

First, i won't add date on status bar or percentage beside battery cause there's no space and they would overlap the center clock.
This had been taken from another rom:
Second, the lack of delta update was an exception for stable release. I will continue to provide deltas in the future, don't worry.
Keep in mind on new sources drop there won't be a delta cause every file changes and a delta zip would be pretty much the whole rom.
Here's my plan about the future.
I'm pretty confident we will have new sources in a week/10 days cause N5X and N5P have been left behind and also our devices needs some bug fixing.
Also there will be a security update on November.
My plan is to wait for new sources and working on N5X and N6P releases and then will start working again on our devices.
Shouldn't be an issue, we got a stable, fully featured with more features then LP firmware already and other roms will take months to come even closer.
In general, as there will be a source drop every month, things should go like this:
New sources --> Big beta zip --> 20 days of active development with delta updates --> Big stable zip --> one week of slack.
