Just make sure you're on a11 firmware before flashing latest Twrp. If on oneui 2x flash twrp 3.5.0.9-2 no later or the handset will boot loop

Yeah simply wipe as normal in advanced wipe, install rom/gApps then intsall the boot image to boot

Reboot to system. No need for booting to magisk, just let it reboot normally.

Btw if coming from stock it's a bit more than just wiping system etc

You'll have to format data then flash multidisabler before installing the rom to decrypt /data

I personally put the files I'm gonna flash on SD card before I do anything

Thanks it worked. Do you know which camera supports all modes?

For a while now (even with stock samsung rom) I have had the issue where my 5G Wifi connection on the phone will drop after a couple of minutes after my screen goes off (to save power or something) and I do not have this issue with my 2.4G Wifi connection. I have a task running that tries to sync backup files to my NAS but after a few minutes it fails because the files are too big to transfer in just a few minutes.
Is there a way to make sure the connection stays working with this ROM?

Hi, thanks for maintaining this ROM.
after I saw in changelog you fixed USB-C audio I tried it out, but for me, High-Res audio over USB-C is still not working, basically I have the same problem I posted last year:

I've also tested using my DJI drone with this ROM and did not get it working, while the usual warning message appears if the app is allowed to access USB, after that nothing happens. It's 100% working on stock and I did the same procedure with this ROM, also I've tried troubleshooting but couldn't get any further.
It is quite interesting that I only found this problems with AOSP ROMs, but not with stock ones, so do other (Qualcomm-based) devices have those problems with AOSP ROMs too?
@Ivan_Meler Do you know what's the problem with it and is it solvable?
Thanks again for maintaining this ROM.

Dear All,
today I tried to update ROM/Magisk.
After installing May Rom, flash cache and install Magisk May boot image the phone came up. Then I made the mistake to update Magisk in Magisk managr and did a reboot.
Now I am in a bootloop and I can´t find a way to enter recovery, Download mode etc. with any key Combo. What is the right Key Combo to enter TWRP (I hope its still there) to reflash Ivans Magisk to boot.
Thanks for your help
UPDATE: I managed to boot into TWRP recovery and did the following:
-Wipe Caches
-Installed May LOS from first Post
-Installed GAPPS
-Installed Magiks from Post 3
-reboot

Now its running, but when I open Magisk the App is on 23.0 (21) and Migisk still on 21.4, but I the good thing is I passed SafetyNet after installing the Properitery Stuff mentioned in the pop up.

So all fine now. Thanks Ivan for that ROM.

Today I received a message that there was a new version available of LineageOS 18.1 (May 10 update) so I installed it directly from the updater. After the update and the reboot I noticed that Magisk was gone and so I did no longer have root.
I figured I could just flash the new magisk bootloader but ended up with boot loops. Note that I also tried flashing vbmeta and recovery but no luck so far.
I would like to prevent having to do a factory reset if possible. So if someone has a suggestion to be able to boot with my phone that would be great.
I assume the boot loops are because the file system is encrypted and it cannot access this anymore?

What would be the proper procedure in the future in case I see another update in LineageOS? Ignore this and flash the new boot img instead and then do an adb sideload with the lineageos update?

Thanks
Hi,

I maybe this helps:
my problem was to come into TWRP again then it was easy. If I remember right I did some volume up+Bixby+Power after reboot.

Hi, thank you for your time with the ROM. I have installed twice in a Galaxy S10e and finally I finished reinstalling again stock ROM.
I miss too much Exchange Activesync, the Samsung Edge Panel and my bank account NFC payment does not work.... Additionally, I noticed that stock rom it´s much better while touching the screen with accuracy. I do not know why...

Thank you a lot guys!

    You probably need to:
Use the higher touch sensitivity option in the settings

I can use any banking app, it takes a few steps to get the safety net to pass

It just seems like the rom isn't for you, if you are so fond of the Samsung gui and features.

I personally enjoy this rom a lot. Thanks Ivan for regularly updating it!!

I figured out that via TWRP the lock screen can be removed, which made me interested in the "encrypt phone" options in the settings >security menu. However, I read online that encrypting the phone shouldn't be done while rooted, does this apply to this rom as well? We are rooted from the installation (which is perfectly fine in my opinion).

    Thanks for your answers

Do you have instructions for it?
Because I tried all and not able to passe safetynet check (Magisk 23.0, MagiskHide, MagiskHide Props Config, Universal SafetyNet fix) since April build.

    Thanks Ivan!

I updated and have MicroG, Magisk 23.0 and latest Riru v25.4.4.r426.05efc94 working but LSPosed won't install. It thinks Magisk is version 21201 for some reason.

This is the working version of Lsposed that I have on my s10 with latest magisk and Riru. Feel free to try it

Can't guarantee it'll work on a clean install in magisk

Okay, while both LSPosed v1.3.4 and v1.3.5 installed, (and latest Riru) the problem is that Riru is not being enabled, seemingly after v23.9.

I created the file /data/adb/modules/riru-core/allow_install_app and the app that checks Riru shows not installed or enabled despite showing okay in Magisk.

Riru v23.9 and LSPosed v.1.2.2 show loaded in Riru app, but not in LSPosed app.

Do you have instructions for it?
Because I tried all and not able to passe safetynet check (Magisk 23.0, MagiskHide, MagiskHide Props Config, Universal SafetyNet fix) since April build.
Yes, first of all do not tamper with Google play services via third party apps, it caused my safetynet to fail despite having it all correctly set.

Secondly, you have to use some form of Google apps package, I use Nikgapps core as advised by Ivan. If you use microG instead, you simply won't be able to pass safetynet.

In the beginning, before moving to magisk 22+, I was able to install the most sophisticated banking apps with microG, I noticed that with the migration to the new magisk (22+) I wasn't able to do that anymore.

I would do a clean setup of I were you, I would also advise to come from a stock android 11, I was using Ivan's 18.1 when previously having stock android 10, it interfered a bit with some stuff. For example I wasn't able to install latest TWRP.

    Then, magisk different package name,
Magisk hide (then hide Google play services in the app)
    Magiskhide props config
    Change signatures (via terminal/termux su
    Props
    Then magisk universal fix

    This must work!

Did you try removing Riru and Lsposed and reinstalling them? I just moved back to Los 18.1 from crdroid and Lsposed is working for me

The easiest way you can flash it is through TWRP. You just enter the IMG flashing mode and flash the .img file into the boot partition slot.

      Seriously, it's that easy.

P.S.: But please install the stable version of Magisk Manager because if you install the Canary version of the app and upgrade Magisk through the app, you'll brick your phone.

I'm not joking, I've tried it out.
Thank you for the explanation and warning. (I only chose canary because it was mentioned here earlier, so I uninstalled it and took the stable version)
I successfully flashed the img file with TWRP as you suggested. (wasn't aware that this is possible)

After I figured out how the PlayStore with MicroG passes the starting icon (it seems I needed to allow signature spoofing, was a bit hidden), this ROM incl. microG and Magisk seems to run fine on my S10e. I hope it will be a good successor of my good old faithful Sony Z5 Compact. (S10e was the smallest useful phone with LineageOS I could find anyway nowadays ;-))

Now I will backup my current status and look into how I can pass safety net check. (Haven't figured that out yet, so many things have changes in the past 5 years. :-o)
Then I'm more than happy. :)

PS: Many Thanks to @Ivan_Meler for this ROM, I will visit the donation page in a few minutes. :)

Just plug it in PC and hold power , volume up, and bixby , let go of power when the phone vibrates. Should boot to twrp.

      blame Samsung 👍
Yes can confirm this is the way, weirdly enough I NEED to use the USB cable to get into TWRP or it just doesn't boot. Blame Samsung indeed.

I feel like an idiot, but can someone hint me on how to boot into TWRP? I'm trying to:

1/ Boot into TWRP but I just can't seem to make it happen. I want to install the May update very badly!
2/ I have the pre-May version running fine, with TWRP installed, but I can't get the phone rooted. Every time I mess around it seems to either brick and I need to reinstall, or nothing happens with magisk

Hopefully someone finds a moment to help me out. Appreciate it a lot!

I didn't read your request properly.. my bad :)

Just flash the appropriate boot image from the link I posted to the boot partition.

Grab magisk manager from here. :) It's pretty easy.

Due to requests from some users I added signature spoofing support to the rom which allows usage of MicroG
you can simply install MinMicroG and grant it needed permissions for signature spoofing to make it work as intended
