I recommend wiping cache/dalvik-cache after flashing update

Rom Installation

Before You Start:
Backup EVERYTHING you want to save from internal storage.

Stage 1:
** Skip to STAGE 2 if OEM Unlock has already been done **
Preparing the stock rom
** This is REQUIRED
• In the stock rom, turn on developer mode, enable USB debugging and OEM Unlock
• Settings>>>about device>>> scroll to bottom and tap build number 8 times
now press back button once and tap developer options...
• Toggle on both USB debugging and OEM Unlock.
[WARNING] Do not EVER turn these off or your phone will not boot and you will be forced to reflash back to factory build with odin.

Stage 2:
** Skip to STAGE 3 if already running a custom recovery / TWRP, Philz, Etc **
Install TWRP Custom Recovery with Odin
• Download Odin & custom recovery tar
Odin for download mode
twrp-3.2.1-0-zerofltespr.img.tar
• Extract Odin zip-file
• Power down the phone
• Open Odin on pc
• Boot phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
• Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
• Add the recovery file to AP / PDA (depending on version of Odin)
• Make sure re-partition & Auto Reboot are NOT ticked
• Click the start button and let the Odin flash complete

Stage 3:
• Boot the phone into Recovery Mode
- Press and hold volume down+power to reboot and as soon as the phone screen flashes, press and hold Home+Power+Volume Up buttons
to get into recovery. The timing has to be right but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.
• If TWRP asks, the answer is yes, swipe to allow modifications. It will only ask you this once.
• Do a FULL wipe but do not reboot yet (wipe/advanced wipe)
A full wipe includes:
Dalvik Cache
Cache
Data
System
• Flash rom and reboot.

** Custom Roms may take about 10 minutes to get to the setup screen, so be patient.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Known Issues:
Code:
• Some themes may crash UI
• Not all Edge features work on our phone
• Left & Center statusbar clock do not hide on the lockscreen
• The custom Lockscreen Clock will not display properly with custom themes
Toggle it off with RomControl
• Stock battery icon does not darken when using a light app
• Audio path panel is not themeable in pulldown
AFAIK, it only appears when an external audio device is connected.
• Custom themes may not display properly in the pulldown notication panel with custom colors enabled.
Utilize the stock colors toggle in Rom Control to use custom theme view.
Switching between custom and stock themes may require a UI reset or reboot to display properly.
• You will trip Knox (NOT THIS ROMS FAULT)
• Flashing stock rom might cause loss of sim/phone unlock (again NOT THIS ROMS FAULT)

Thanks to
@tdhite for allowing to add his kernel
@Xda for teaching me all that I know

I did a clean install from TWRP.
The wifi disconnects every time I restart like it doesn't remember the password.
After I first installed, the audio was really low and scratchy over 20%. I tried to flash the audio fix from TWRP but it said no md5 found (right before it said success). Magisk wouldn't install it. I'm not sure what that means but now I have no sound at all. Do I need to extract it first?
What is the best way to keep it updated?

Other than that everything else so far works fine. I'm going to try to get the APN settings to work with my t-mobile card if anyone has any tricks. Thanks for all the hard work putting this together!:good:

Edit: I have been trouble shooting, and twice I have heard music (that I have been playing in the background) come through the speaker for just a split second. Also the sound works fine in the headphones.

Hey dev, a heads up that the WiFi problems continue. Sometimes when the phone enters deep sleep, the WiFi disconnects and it takes several tries of turning on and off the WiFi or restarting the phone to get it to reconnect. I had already flashed the kernel, and that fixed the not remembering the password issue, but not the disconnect issue.
Also, the ANT+ firmware seems to be missing. I've attached a screenshot.
The kernel I'm talking about flashing is @tdhites here is a link 2 the correct file I'm talking about https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=962339331458992035 that fixed the wifi for me I haven't spent much time with the zip as going through all that code is annoying especially after jacking with smali code an yeah ANT+ firmware was removed it's a debloated rom you can take it from original firmware if needed

Hello! I am getting a boost mobile s6 (only $99 hard to pass up) and after researching all the different rom's this seems to be the best one out there.
I assume you flash this then the sprint to boost fix?
Also what's not working on this specific rom? I've read the whole thread and it just seems like some random annoying little things.

    Thanks in advance!
Sprint to boost fix? Don't know what that is, this ROMs base is XAS-DRA2 universal on the Sprint network doesn't matter if your on Sprint boost or virgin it will work and it's not carrier branded...an yes just a little bit of annoying things that I'll fix if brought up if I can...I'm getting ready to put together another update that's heavily modded just trying to make some blur in the notification panel as well as an s8 clock previously mentioned

1 other thing i noticed is that there is no hotspot menu listed in settings, not really a big deal cuz u can hold down on hotspot toggle in pulldown and get to menu that way...but i remember there being a quick fix for that on 1 of my other phones...dont remember if it was in build.props or what though... Anyways... Thanks for keeping the s6 alive bro for all us low budget peeps ...boostmobile wanting 700+$ for the newer samsungs.....helllll to the naaa... Loll
