how to update the bootloader and Modem
• Enable Developer Options
- Go to Settings> About device> Software info and tap on Build number 8 times to enable Developer Options
- Then Go to Settings> Developer Options and Make sure "USB Debugging" is enabled and "OEM Unlock" is enabled
• Reboot the device into Download Mode (Press Volume Down + Home + Power button)
• Open Odin choose
- BL button and select the Bootloader file
- CP button and select the Modem file

....Flashing Custom Recovery TWRP with ODIN
will flag your Knox counter from 0x0 to 0x1
no longer be reset and loss of warranty.

*** if you install a custom rom for the first time***
• Download Odin
• Download TWRP Custom Recovery
• Download BoBCaTROM and check MD5 (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=73961)
• Put Rom in your device
• Enable Developer Options
- Go to Settings> About device> Software info and tap on Build number 8 times to enable Developer Options
- Then Go to Settings> Developer Options and Make sure "USB Debugging" is enabled and "OEM Unlock" is enabled
• Reboot the device into Download Mode (Press Volume Down + Home + Power button)
• Open Odin choose AP button and select the recovery file
• Connect device to PC
• Go to Options tab and make sure it is selected only Reset F. Time (uncheck Auto Reboot)
• Click Start to Install the custom recovery TWRP
• Once it's completed your see "PASS" in a green box on top left corner of Odin
• Disconnect device and long press Volume Down + Power
• Once screen turns off, immediately press Volume Up + Power + Home to reboot to recovery manually.
• Once in Recovery, select Wipe option - Format Data [type "yes"] to remove the decryption of the sd card (Warning: This will wipe your internal storage, disable encryption, and factory reset your phone!)
• Once it's completed Install BoBCaTROM_xxx.zip
• Reboot
• Done!!!
*** if you have already TWRP and a custom ROM ***
• Download BoBCaTROM and check MD5 (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=73961)
• Put Rom in your device
• Reboot in Recovery Mode,select Wipe to Factory Reset
• Install BoBCaTROM_xxx.zip
• Reboot
• Done!!!

HOW TO INSTALL:

Device with ROOT:
- Copy the apk in your phone
- Install it from the archive manually
- Expects that the application is installed
- Using RootExplorer or similar enters in data/overlays/ and delete the folder "preferences"
- Then in data/overlays/jsonfiles/trialjson cuts the bobcat.xxx.json file
** and paste it in data/overlays/jsonfiles /userjson
- restart
- Go to the Theme Store Samsung and apply
- done

Device without ROOT:
ATTENTION
Repeat the procedure every time you restart your phone...with the new firmware that does not work properly

- Download from the Play "Package Disabler Pro (Samsung)"

Congratulations and welcome to this S7 Edge forum.

There is one feature which you forgot to add to the
Changelog list of features in this rom.

The additional feature is "Rounded Corners"
in recents and in the notifications.

The rom really looks and works excellent, just like
all the other custom roms you have created for us.

I have already installed the Bobcat theme from the
theme store and that looks and works perfect too.
