On second attempt almost everything working fine. Except for Titanium Backup, which can still only read from sd. The document provider, which normally can allow write access even on unrooted devices, seems to have some issues.
Couldn't import Nova settings from sd. When i tried to save settings via document provider, the previous read job was executed, now it works both ways.
Recent apps is unlimited and the close all-button well hidden, you gotta scroll to tge top of the endless list, but okay.
The only crashes so far were when accessing mobile functions in settings, with no sim inserted.
TB can backup to sd! Just create a new backup folder, the old one is read-only.
Last issue is that the system file manager don't get root rights, despite constantly asking for such. This may also lead to inconveniences with the document provider, where u sometimes can't confirm a path.

I had a bit of a time getting the LTE settings to work, having forgotten to write them down for my international sm-p607 BEFORE wiping.
Squid works very well with the S-Pen.
The Camera is fine... If anyone has suggestions for a camera with customization and themes, that would be great.

I did what you are recommending, and I'm thankful for your kind support. unfortunately I'm still facing crashes. I really love Android 7 +CM goodies that I'm willing to lose all the S-Pen stuff and the occasional app-crashes.

This ROM is looking very polished. Well done @davidmueller13!!

I notice CM13 (official) somehow used to correctly identify my device as a SM-P607T (instead of SM-P605), and assign the correct descriptive name and thumbnail in Google Play Store settings but I think I can override this by setting ro.product.model=SM-P607T.

There was also some oddity in the GApps initial setup (anyone remember what that blank toggle is supposed to be?), but I assume that's Google's fault.

Probably a windowing mode. I accidentially created dual pane vision during my first try, before bricking the rom with SuperSU. On the next try i unchecked this item, thought i could activate it later in settings menu. But nope. And no windows or dualpane view anymore.

Yeah you're absolutely right about the radio firmware once I upgraded baseband from P607TUVUBOI2 to P607TUVSBPH1 and reflash everything works as expected! thanks again for this awesome rom!

You just have to flash TWRP via Odin.

Hello!
I'm using the mixed-mode of adoptable storage, so that half of the sd-card is internal and the other half is external memory.
If I want to move apps from internal memory to the sd-card I get "not enough storage space" (there is a lot of free space, of course).
If I uninstall and reinstall apps, they find their way to the sd-card.
Is this a (minor) bug?
Other than that this rom is really good!
I'm using it for two weeks now as a daily driver and I haven't observed any crash, reboot or any other error.

On a different device with 4GB internal flash and only a 2,3GB data partition i found out that if the free internal flash goes below 250MBytes, despite adopted storage, Playstore can no longer perform updates. If free mem goes even lower, you can't even move out apps to sd anymore. So the initial setup for this device took a lot of extra time, coming from CM11 there was extra waste of internal flash for the bigger ART cache(vs Dalvik) and i couldn't restore from a TB backup nor download from Playstore in one go.
Future installs will go primarily to sd, if the app2sd flag is set in the app. With the possibility to force move apps(implemented in that rom) a lot more apps will run happily from sd.

Turns out the missing option is "free up space when your device storage is full (by removing photos and videos already backed up to Google Photos).
Definitely I attribute this to Gapps - there's been some weirdness specifically around the Photo backup lately. One new device I activated (Galaxy S4) even got the unlimited full-resolution photo promo (for Pixels only)!
I imagine this toggle is only supposed to be visible on devices that get the unlimited full-res photo promo.

I have flashed this rom (14.1-20161227) and nearly everthing worked fine. I have a question and hope anyone can help me. I used to use the tablet as ir remote controller and this feature dont work - maybe because the drivers are not installed. Anymote should, as described, work even when no ir-drivers are installed - but this seams not to be true in my case. Any ideas what can i try?
The second question is that i have accidently format the whole sd-card as internal - i wanted originally mixed 50% - is it possible to change this?

On a sidenote, tried 2 clean installs of the new Lineage based builds and had both my home wifi networks dropping in and out intermittently (both 2.4ghz and 5ghz ones), dropped back to the last CM14.1 (15/12/2016) build and wifi is stable on both networks...

Know if there were any commits regarding wifi in the changeover?

one thing that has been same from 1207 & 1231 is when you try to edit a pic in Facebook messenger it just keeps on auto rotating and same when you try to listen/send a voice message..........still same
