How do I determine the version of the modem firmware?

Where do I locate the 5.1.1 (or better) firmware for a SM-P605?.....
If it's rooted already you can use "PhoneInfo SAM".
If not yet, as I remember when you go into download or recovery on the upper left corner but I'm not sure.
All mine are rooted.

Either use Samfirm tool (which I prefer, as you can get multiple part ROM but only the latest) or sammobile.com (account needed) where can get all ROMs for the devices.

-Try different chargers
-Some chargers exhibit this problem only when the Note is in soft-off and not in standby.
-Others charge as long as the device is active or idle and stop ehen it enters standby.
-The usb assembly's cable may need proper reattachment or the jack is worn out. The whole assembly us cheap but may be tricky to fit, as it also contains the middle button & leds.

Portrait mode during phone calls

Is there any way to make the phone call screen (blue with red "end call" button) work in portrait mode instead of landscape mode? On my LT03LTE it always forces landscape mode which makes the dialer buttons disappear. And that makes the tablet unsuitable for calling Hotlines (in Germany) where you have to click a number for choosing one of the options when talking to a hotline robot.

Did you try installing another dialer app?

I don't think it's the charging cable or the socket, because it was still working right before the update.
After that, the battery became increasingly empty with the charging cable plugged in until it went off completely (0% => battery empty).
I then turned the device off and charged it overnight. After about 8 hours it was 64% landed.
That was much faster before the update. :(

To be sure that it's a Lineage issue I'd turn back to stock and check loading behaviour then as well.
Or did you try that already?
Perhaps battery life is ending.

I have a problem to flash the newest build (and other / older builds) to my P605.

I had used 14.1 since 2018 and updated after a new build trouble-free.

But two days ago i want to flash the newest build from david but it stuck at ~40%.

Stuck at "patching system image unconditionally"

-> After that i made a complete re-install. (stock rom 5.1.1 DBT via ODIN - both nature binaries & one binary downloaded from SamMobile).
-> flashed TWRP3.4 via ODIN
-> wipe data / cache/dalvik/ system/internal
-> tried to flash los-14.1-20200913 but it also stuck at ~40%

I made this a couple of times (also with other TWRP versions) and used other stock roms but everytime the same.

I've done this many times in the past and never had any problems.

I would be grateful for a tip.

thanks.

Just to be sure, you verified that the file was downloaded correctly?
Also, try formatting system before flashing.

I strongly assume because I have downloaded the files several times.
I also formatted before flashing. unfortunately it didn't work.

which is very strange that I now somehow found a combination between twrp 3.2.1.0 and LOS17 that I could install. This will probably only work until the next restart.

Hello, I've been using the firmware for a month now. Everything was on the way, in recent days the tablet is not charging well. Yesterday I stopped charging with the screen off, turned on the developer mode so that the screen does not go out when charging. It charges very badly, I do not want to return to 5.1.1. I made a backup

Tried different cable? Cleaned USB port? Does it charge better in TWRP?

You might make sure that's not ROM related by flashing stock ROM and look how it behaves then.
As you made a backup you can easily restore lineage and your data afterwards.

    This is only for SM-P605 (lt03lte)! Even loading an custom recovery will irreversible trigger Knox to 0x1!

    LineageOS/CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
    *
    */

    LineageOS/CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (GApps). LineageOS/CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS GitHub repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit Gerrit Code Review.

    How to flash:
    -Be sure you are on 5.1.1 Bootloader and Modem (Flash 5.1.1 firmware via Odin) !
    -Flash TWRP (version 3.0.0-0 or newer recommended)
    -Make Nandroid backup (optional)
    -Wipe > Advanced Wipe > select data, system, ART/Dalvik Cache, Cache, Internal Storage > Swipe
    -Install > select Lineage14.1 Zip > Swipe, optional: flash GAPPS, SU Addon (before rebooting!)
    -Reboot

    Please read full OP before posting or flashing anything. Please don't report any bugs, if you use Xposed, any mod or modified the system.

    Please report no issues, if you
    • using the official builds (or others than mine)
    • flashed Xposed
    • or modified the system

    What is working
    Everything
    No major issues/bugs
