Just wanted to stop by and say awesome ROM. With limited development for the 607t I was very disappointed when I couldnt find as much stuff to trick my note tab out like my note phone. Luckly I stumbled across this ROM and havent looked backed since. Just enough to allow me to make my tab have a truly personal exprience. Awesome job and thanks for a great ROM. Looking forward to continued support fingers crossed.
Hey KittyTeapots, thank you so much for confirming that this ROM works on the 607t... you're post is one of the main reasons that this device is now in my hands (just picked it up today via "the deal of the century", and a
massive upgrade from my wifi Note 8!

)Making sure that there was an appealing ROM that I could flash on the device, I actually DLed xKat this morning before stopping over at the Tmo store, and I'm just about to fire up odin to flash TWRP.
In order threads discussing the 607t variant, there is talk about needing to remove a couple of elements of 605 ROMs before flashing on a 607t... Do you or anyone know: is that the case with this ROM, IOW can one just DL the ROM and just straight flash it on a 607t, or does the zip file need to be modified a bit before flashing on that device? Thanks so much in advance! I'm loving this thing, but would like to ditch stock KK asap!
Also, to contribute to this thread, (this is somewhat OT, only relevant to Tmo customers, so feel free skip to that bottom if Tmo-specific stuff doesn't affect you

)I learned the hard way to
make sure that it's confirmed ROOT / ROM-ABLE. I also talk
extremely specifically about root related subjects, even telling the rep my "policy": "That I will NEVER buy any hardware that intentionally blocks or is excessively difficult to gain administrative access (i.e. if I can't minimally
view the entire file system, no thanks!" The Tmo rep had NO problem at all. I even showed off my heavily modded Note 3, and he called his buddy (another rep) over to check out my setup. Not only that, but I received a completely gratis cellspot router (wanted both that and the lte booster, but the guy on the phone said "yeah probably, you'll just have to pay the $25 deposit). So first I just asked the guy if I could grab one, but they were out in the store (apparently sell out
fast) but he said they get shipments on Monday at 12, so come in around then and I could grab one. Sweet!
Now for the juicy part I ordered the router, even though I already have an Asus ac66u flashed with Merlin's custom AsusWRT. To... I think everyone's surprise... the routers given out by Tmo aren't locked down at all, and there's actually a build of Merlin's firmware specifically for the device! (
http://www.smallnetbuilder.com). I asked the rep if Tmo would have a problem with us flashing modded firmware, then flash it back to stock... really not expecting an affirmative answer, he replied "Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's fine." That's seriously great news for Tmo customers.... I don't use wifi-calling (despite that being the reason that their giving out / loaning this killer hardware - to get more people using wifi calling rather than mobile bandwidth) and I plan on bridging this router with my ac66u. I was going to keep my ac66u as the router with the straight connect to the modem, but now that I know I can modify the QoS (as well as many additional features added by Merlin) I can put the more powerful router first in the chain... Certainly don't want to use the default settings, which of course have VOIP at the highest priority.... I don't want to slow down the several gigs of torrents I DL every night.... of strictly linux distros.... yes... terabytes of iso's  So hopefully there are some more Tmo customers here who'll find that of interest. I most definitely did.
Apologies for the OT, I just got all kinds of awesome news today and want to spread it around in hopes that it'll benefit others as well

Back on topic, xKat looks great and I can't wait to give it a run! Hopefully this'll catch the eye of someone familiar with the 607t and can let me know if it's cool to flash "as is" or needs some modification. I'm super excited not only about my beautiful new big screen, but also discussing what's going on beneath it with you all! :good:
