Made a clean install with data format and restored data from version 20200824 afterwards.
Everything is working fine.
No freezes yet, no Wifi probs (using only 2.4GHz) within the last five hours after installation.

As I don't need mic without camera do you suggest I should nevertheless update?
And if yes, dirty or better clean install?

WiFi working
When i start a youtube video - the tablet rebooting.
It reboot even, when i open a video over the browser.
I always do a clean flash :/

Mine is still on 20200825 and integrated music player is working with mp3 as well as VLC and Vanilla Music do.

Thanks for your work, can we use this on SM-P902 3G ? Turkish call-limited version of SM-P901 3G version., same hardware. Is it possible to install it for SM-P902 and activate modem ? . Thanks a lot for this release, many people were waiting. Our old devices gets life.

Some feedback on build 3 (full wipe + twrp 3.4.0.0)
- crashes when using media related stuff
- firefox beta no rendering of pages
- realy bad battery life (compared to 14.1 Exynos5420 Device Build now only 2 days standby, previous 7+ day standby)
- auto brightness not working complete (in complete dark room it sets brightness to 60%)

I managed to localize the kernel crash from youtube, I was sure about omx problem, but look like crash in the sound part in the kernel. I made fast fix to fix crash, but I think I need somehow backport sound part from more fresh device. Look like somehow sound mechanism broken in the kernel in the 17.1

Don't know if it helps but mine (still on 20200825) has no probs with multimedia.
Radiodroid and VLC working fine.
But sudden reboots even when just surfing.
Firefox working or not? I don't care any longer ?

Flashed , looks very clean , since I am coming from Lollipop , I guess. However as others have mentioned , Tab reboots whenever I try to launch anything to do with video. like youtube, any games etc.

- rewrite audio part (I spent a week looking for the reason for the crashes in the youtube, I was 100% sure that the problems were in omx libs or in the our mali, but the real reason was in the sound - wrong konfig)

with the latest code there are problems with magisk. it calls the bootloop. If your tablet stuck on the samsung logo - back to recovery and remove magisk (you can use uninstall magisk from canary channel: https://github.com/topjohnwu/magisk_files/tree/canary).
