All working good on the new build (4)
I did have hiccups with installation. Somehow during pre flash wipe, TWRP had reset its modification permission without any notification. It wasn't til 3rd attempt that I was asked to give permission. Then flash was successful.

Still, I didn't understand exactly how to do it. Is there anyone teach me how to do it? what kind of file do i have to download and everything....:crying::crying::crying:

Build 4:

When flashing I get a error message (Cannot mount) but it still flashes.

Using S-pen works somewhat better, I can write/draw in Squid without any problem, tried for a few minutes
but when I use the s-pen to swipe on the homescreen or in other apps the tablet hangs.

It takes time for my background bitmap to draw every time I get back to the desktop from screen off, the bitmap (jpeg) is 600 bytes big.

No camera app! (is it intentional since not working?)

Afaik fast charge is not implemented anyhow, at least never noticed any on mine.
Do what? Change battery?
Which OS does it have?
If you want to flash custom ROM look for how-to TWRP first cause that's the base you need for whatever ROM you want to flash.

Update your tablet to last official Samsung Android update for the tablet (very important!! It contains a bootloader update that these newer ROMs require. If you don't do this step, your new rom flash won't boot! )

Find and install Odin on your PC, then
For TWRP:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIvWVS_Rkxo

Once TWRP is correctly installed, you can install any custom rom for v1awifi (this is the unique board name that identifies the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 device) like the ones listed here in this forum. If at all possible, use the original USB cable that came with the device - less chance of probems. If you don't have it, use a good quality usb 3 cable.

I need a stable operating system so I use an older version ROM (14.1), but I know these developers will get 17.1 hammered out quickly and I'm excited.

These devices were released before there were any fastcharge standards, so they will take hours to charge from a low battery, that's just life in the old lane! Make sure your charger has enough power - I use one that charges at 5.1v and 2.1 amps (12 watts) and have no problems.

This forum has a wealth of knowledge, search for your answers. These are old tablets, so any questions you may have were already asked and answered somewhere on this forum. When set up properly, these are still really nice tablets. Remember to read everything twice so that you only need to do it once! Good luck!

Thanks Valera. Had almost forgot my old note pro. Saw this and decided to get a new battery (22 bucks in sweden) and give it a go. Works great. Forgot about this gorgeous screen and its like ive bought a brand new tablet. The rom works pretty snappy and battery is really good. You made my day. THANKS!:laugh:

Edit: I too experience the Firefox issue. Chrome based browsers, no problems

The inoperable front and rear facing cameras are the biggest problems with the 9/10 build. The rest works. Hopefully future builds with have the camera working.

Feedback to 20200910:
Clean Flash, GApps, TWRP 3.4

- Audio OK
- Youtube and other multimedia OK
- No random reboots while using S-Pen
- No Front/Rear Camera Working (not an issue).
- Most Stable Build so far
- "Laggy": at least for me, if you type "too fast" using a keyboard (bluetooth official keyboard in my case), the system reboots.
It happened 2 times for me while trying to write this feedback.

Hi! New to the site and flashing Lineage ROMS.

I must say with a heartfelt thank you for this latest build!!!!

I was fixing to get rid of my SM-P900 tablet due to many of the apps I used not supported in the old OEM android version anymore.

The flash went extremely smooth using the lastest TWRP version. I also installed the GAPPS stock with no issues.

This build is running pretty smooth for me. Battery life is good.

I only have a few issues:
Two reboots due to the stylus issues others are having when using it on the home page.
Flashlight and cameras not working
5G networks not visible. Only able to use 2.4 networks. Was able to use 5G with OEM build.
Other than these. I have had no issues or crashes!

Again extemely grateful for all your efforts!! I am so glad I came here and tired your build instead of trashing my tablet!

If you search the 14.1 thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...-7-1-xsm-p900-unofficial-cyanogenmod-t3524788) for P-901, you will see that ROM will not work on the P-901 without modification. I would assume it is the same for this ROM, but that is just my guess. You could take a TWRP backup of your current setup, then restore it if this ROM does not work. If you do that, please report back here. I am sure there are others who have the same question.

I'm not not that well knowing, but as your versions have both mobile data I assume it might be more reasonable to ask in the P905 (LTE) sub forum than in the purely Wi-Fi thread.

if i am not wrong sm-p905 has snapdragon cpu and sm-p900/ p901 and p902 use exynos. So it looks possible to install sm-p900 package to sm-p901 or sm-p902 while forget about mobile data.

I was using lineage sm-p901 appropriate packet in my sm-p902 by editing update file on data and re-zip it so it does not stuck on version check. I wonder if it is possible to apply sp-900 in to mobile data enabled devices and upgrade to enable modem with extra software or not.

Yes. I can confirm this issue on my sm-901 too. Touch and pen works individually. But if i rest my hand on the screen and use the pen, the system crashes. Palm rejection not working and leads to crash.
