Hello Valera, got your firmware installed yesterday with Gapps nano and latest TWRP 3400. Found 2 problems so far
1. Youtube works very slow, frame rate is lagging. Tried Geekbench 5.2, it makes 171/490 points (single/multi core), which is OK, not sure what's the problem.
2. Occasional restarts, couldn't link to any app.

First Time

I have the P900 and it has become too slow to do just about anything. Story you've all heard a 1000 times now. I got it so I could have books, basic internet, drawing, video and some basic gaming (board game style) in a portable format. It was an expensive bit of equipment that should still be just fine for the above if not for Samsung. . . .

Would this be a good set up then? I am new to all of this. I am a linux user and fairly tech savy but when it comes to mobile I haven't really gotten into customization yet.

I would very much recommend installing a custom ROM on your P900, it will breath new life into it. However if it's your first time, you probably shouldn't start off with a ROM like this which is in the development and testing stage. I would suggest you either wait until a properly stable build of this ROM is ready, or go for a stable build of an older one, such as Lineage OS 14.1:

Update your tablet to last official Samsung Android update for the tablet (very important!! It contains a bootloader update that these newer ROMs require. If you don't do this step, your new rom flash won't boot! )
I found this out the hard way. After flashing, this rom wouldn't boot.. I thought maybe I needed to go back a version of TWRP or something, so downgraded that.. didn't help. When the other Lineage rom also failed, I was going to try a Samsung-based rom like this one, but then I noticed the note about the bootloader update. Flashing that made both Lineage roms (17.1 and 14.1) boot just fine. Thought I'd share in case anyone comes straight to this from 4.4 or whatever I was on before.

I'm running Resurrection Remix 5.8.5 by Schrolli. Does this mean I have the new boot loader?

Custom ROMs don't change Bootloaders.
You have the latest one (very likely I think it's needed for Schrolli's ROM), if you came from latest stock.
Check with PhoneInfo (needs root).

According to phoneinfo my bootloader is
P900XXU0BOH4

Is that OK?
Many thanks for your help[emoji106]

Hi to all,
just to inform you that I tried your build on an existing "Resurrection Remix 5.8.5" (Lineage based) and It's working great (but not the camera as you already know). I just lost a couple of thing but this enable me to be operative in 15 minutes. Great ! Thanks and continue with this job, very nice.

Coming from latest LOS 14.1.
Made a clean install with data format, BitGapps and Magisk.
Fast restart and seems ok so far.
Trying to use AFWall+ gives "error applying iptable rules".
Although this message came and it couldn't be enabled, internet access got totally blocked until I uninstalled it.
It's fully working with LOS17 on T325 so I don't know what's the cause.
And yes it has storage access granted plus su rights.
Any hints?

Hey guys, I have problems with youtube or any video playing on 1080p, 720p60 works fine, but anything on 1080p is supper laggy and stutters like hell. Am I missing something obvious? I am using the 20200910 build, which btw, is really awesome and feels really stable.
