Known Issues
-

I will list current issues as they are missing in the first post:

- rotation issue
- missing battery percentage in the status bar and once the tablet is turned off (during charging); missing the notification saying that charging is in progress (on the lock screen)
- palm rejection doesn't work (sPen)
- SafetyNet check fails, so you are unable to install google pay etc.
- occasionally the screen wakes up for no reason

The first and last problem I can't reproduce. Both works as it should... For the last problem an app is surely responsible.
I also noticed the missing percentage display of the battery charge...

No that's not what I meant. After clean wipe and flash of the rom it will reach the very first setup screen with the button to begin setup. After trying to press the button the tablet will freeze and reboot. After this first boot it will never reach the setup screen again and will crash while the lineage logo is loading.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

I had similar issue after I flashed the latest ROM update. Once I flashed the update, I wasn't able to run the tablet without facing crash when the lineage logo is loading - then after each crash I was taken back to TWRP.
I was able to get out from the loop by flashing bitgapps - https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/custom-bitgapps-android-t4012165

Coincidentally, I tried again before opening this thread and it managed to work and I didn't even see the setup screen, it just went straight to the home screen. Couldn't be bothered to deal with bitgapps download link garbage so I just used the other cyanogenmod link.

The battery indicator can't be changed it seems. Quite an annoying problem.

The sound volume during phone calls is too low comparing to stock phone app.
Does anyone know a way too give it a boost?
I wonder if it's possible too install the 5.0.2 phone app...

during phone call, increasing or decreasing call volume, it has no effect on the volume sound. During the same call, I went to sound settings and also tried to change call volume and the example sound increases and decreases but also has no effect on the call sound.

This is a problem for me because I use this tablet for evereything including phone calls!
I believe the call volume is not linked to the phone app or the speakers...
Could you please take alook at this problem and if you find a solution, could you please tell me how to sort it out before you include it in a future update?

Thank's a lot for the new Rom update, @Valera1978.
But after the update of Rom (20191215) booted the tab for a while and then starts again to boot ... but to the recovery.
I then had to perform a restore of the previous Rom.
Is there anything to consider when installing the update from 20191215 ?

Does nobody know how to avoid the bootloop upon setup?

I had same issue only when, after rom is flashed, recovery ask to install twrp app before reboot...if you deny twrp app to be installed there is no loop reboot to recovery...

Thanks for the advice but I've never installed the twrp app on anything before. My previous post mentions that the solution seems to be a different gapps source.

Afaik opengapps is not working well with Q right now.
Same problem on my T325 solved with these.

Maybe someone can tell me the diff or the reason:
After upgrading from major Version to the other major Version with all the issues, like: not working mic, issues with horizontal and vertical flips, S-pen, now with missed mobile data.... and so on, I'm routed back to Android 5.0.2 (Stock but rooted Rom).
What a different : up from the speed, more stabel, no issues which are mension above....
Why I have the feeling, that the old (original Rom) works mich bettet as every Cyonmod, Lineage Rom...?
Normaly I would expect, that Overall the a newer Rom bring more positiv things in average?
It would be nice, if the newer Roms works also Stable and fast as the very old Rom....
Should it be only a dream?

the new Rom is stable and running fast as also in Lineage 16. MobileData also works. There are also no problems with the screen rotation.

I am constantly facing issues with screen rotation + other issues listed previoisly. Full wipe. Clean installation of the latest version of the rom.

Hello can someone tell me why I cannot find anymore 'repackage magisk manager with random package name' after flashing this last update of lineage os 17? This option has disappeared, I also tried with older magisk version (20.0,20.2,20.3 and 7.3.5,7.5.0,7.5.1 apk) but no way to change name app...

EDIT: after several other attempts I managed to install magisk properly, I was unable to understand well but probably magisk's installation did not complete as expected...

Regarding TWRP backup/restore, which are the folders that I have to flag and which not before performing a restore without creating damage after monthly ROM update? Have I to restore just data folder? thanks
