Hi buddy, have you gone through the mod section in post no. 2?
It's not in the full zip, Samsung did not put it in stock ROM. I've uploaded a mod for this.

You should flash the following and try again:
- RocketTab 3.0 zip
- T210R MK1 kernel
- GPU fix
- WatchOn Mod

I haven't noticed yet on S4, but you are right. This is different than before. Anyway, this is what I'm about to implement:

Hi mate,

I left out some bluetooth packages, that were not neccessary for basic bluetooth operation (which should work...).

If you can, do a nandroid backup, flash RocketTab full package to test functionality and restore your backup afterwards.

If this is working with full, I can identify the needed files and provide a MOD later.

Gaming Mod on RocketTab 3.0 mainly changes device to Galaxy 8.0, all other tweaks are included in regular RocketTab as well. There should be a Trickster Mod app in your app drawer, which can further tweak your kernel, if you need the last percent extra performance.

This worked like a charm for me, I was getting frustrated when my TV wasn't getting detected until I saw this post. Thanks again

RocketTab Mod for the tab 3

Hi guys i have a mod for you to try. I have modded the statusbar to make it sony looking also i might of added more stuff if i forgo. Hope you guys enjoy!

Note: All credit goes to tempdroid and his amazing rom. I have only replaced images in the stock rom to new custom ones from cm themes. I did not make this rom. Hey tempdroid can you download this and try it out and tell me what you think? This will only work on the rockettab 3.0!

Instructions:

1. get and use a root file manager
2. download the file from down below
3. extract and copy it to system/app
4. Overwrite and reboot
5.Enjoy!

    The ROM comes in two flavours: Lite and Full.
    Lite comes without all unneeded services and apps.
    Full package contains all of the apps left out. This is an addon for the Lite package and doesn't work on it's own!

    There's an additional Game MOD available, which can enhance your gaming experience on the Tab by unlocking more games. Check the MOD section for RocketTabOnFire MOD!

    How to install: (even more noob friendly install guide here...)
    - make sure you have a working custom recovery (the ROM comes without one)
    - I recommend PhilZ Touch recovery v2 by @gr8nole
    - download one or both zips and put them on your internal memory
    - download any additional MOD, you want to apply afterwards
    - backup any app and data
    - start in recovery mode
    - do a full nandroid backup, just in case
    - FULL WIPE recommended to avoid any problems
    - install regular RocketTab (Lite) ZIP
    - if you want the full Sammy experience, just install the RocketTab Full package afterwards (if not, skip this!)
    - install MODs afterwards
    - reboot and enjoy!

    Q: How can I calculate MD5 checksum of the downloaded file?
    A: I recommend FreeCommander (http://www.freecommander.com/), but you can use WinMD5Free (http://www.winmd5.com/) or similar as well (haven't tried this personally)

    Q: It says NO WIPE, but you recommend a FULL WIPE. What does that mean?
    A: The ROM itself will not wipe any data (only system partition). But as some old data might corrupt the installation of RocketTab, I strongly suggest a FULL WIPE before installing RocketTab.

    Q: How can I backup and restore my apps and data, so I don't have to install everything new after full wipe?
    A: Use a backup solution. There is a little guide in this post.

    Q: I don't want to use FasterGPS or ES File Explorer! Do I have to?
    A: No, these apps are installed as normal user apps, you can just uninstall them, if you like.

    Q: I don't want the full package, but Google Mail and App [your app here]! Is this possible?
    A: Yes, you can. Download and open the full package zip (just open it, don't extract!), delete every unwanted app in /system/apps then close the zip again (this will update the zip). Voila, you have your very special full package now ;)

    Q: My Tab does not connect to my 5GHz Wifi router, what's wrong?
    A: You might have to configure the router and change to a UK supported channel on the router (36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, 128, 132, 136).

    Q: I'm connected to Wi-Fi, but Play Store says "Network not available". What's going on?
    A: Check your date settings. If you are accidently in the past, you won't get a connection. Just correct the date and time and you are fine.

    Q: I want to play GTA San Andreas and other games, but my Tab is not supported. Can you help me?
    A: Yes, I've recently released a Game MOD for RocketTab, which will turn your Tab ON FIRE :D Go [here].

    Q: I want to play GTA San Andreas and other games, your Game MOD is great, but I don't have any space left on my internal SD card. What can I do?
    A1: @Ripshock developed a solution, which lets you mount unlimited folders on external sdcard to corresponding internal sdcard folder. All details can be found in this post.
    A2: There's an app called FolderMount, which lets you mount individual folders (like game data) to your external SD card. It needs root permissions and mounts folders on startup. The free version is limited to 3 folders. (Thank you, @12gage for this tip)

    Q: I want touch sounds but they seem to be missing. Can you bring them back?
    A: Use a root file explorer like the included Ghost Commander and navigate to /system/media/audio/ui. Rename S_HW_Touch.ogg.bak and TW_Touch.ogg.bak to S_HW_Touch.ogg and TW_Touch.ogg.

    Q: I want to use XBMC with RocketTab 3.0, but my screen stays blank and there are no controls. What can I do?
    A1: Easy solution: Update to RocketTab v3.1 :)
    A2: I've released a GPU Fix for RocketTab 3.0, which will solve this GPU driver issue. Please go to the MOD section and download GPU Fix and T210R MK1 kernel for RocketTab 3.0.

    Dear friends,

    together we created one of the best ROMs for the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. The latest RocketTab 3.1 release is the best one, that I have done so far. I'm really proud, that I could manage in time.

    January is coming to an end and February is approaching.

    It's hard for me, but I have to tell you, that a radical change in my life is about to begin and this means stopping RocketTab development at that stage.

    I'm about to change my place of living and start with a new job. I'll need all the time for job and family.

    I thank all my donors and friends for their support.

    I hope, you will enjoy this release.

    RocketTab v3.0 ready for download!!!

    Hello to my RocketTab community,

    uploads of RocketTab v3.0 have finished. I'm proud to present you the best release so far - RocketTab v3.0.

    A big THANK YOU to all my beta testers, check your pm inbox in a few minutes.

    I recommend a full wipe before installing, this is a huge step in stock changelist, but you can try without wipe first ( @sjsharksfan420 did this successfully with the beta). Do a nandroid backup before and backup your apps and data (I use Titanium Backup for this).

    Full version and mirror downloads will be added later.

    Check Post No. 1 for all details and downloads and Post No. 2 for additional MODs.

    This release contains MK1 kernel, bacause every older kernel gave some problems to recently bought tabs. T210R users, look for T210R MK1 kernel in Post No. 2, if you want to use IR blaster, seems to be missing in ZSMK1 kernel.
