crDroid is a ROM based (mainly) on CyanogenMod with inclusions from others great projects such as SlimKat, OmniRom, AOSPA and many others. crDroid is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock android for your device and at the same time attempting to merge many of the best features that exists.

I take no credit for this ROM, Its not my work, I only compiled this for personal use and sharing the same with the community.

First time installing crDroid on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.4 Pro (SM-T320) or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
- Copy Gapps and crDroid zip to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash crDroid zip
- Flash Gapps zip
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Reboot
- Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup!

Hi Friends,

I am using CrDroid on my newly purchased tab pro 8.4 from best buy. I could not stand touch wiz for even a day and my quest started for custom roms and its a sad situation that there aren't many :crying: I am a longtime nexus user but couldn't justify the nexus 9 price tag.

I use this tab mainly to watch movies that i download from YIFY and apparently CM12 yet doesnt play mxplayer with hw+ even with codecs, so till then I will stick with kitkat.

I have compiled CrDroid today as it it based on CM and its rocking on my tab now. I can share / upload the build on Google drive if users are interested.

kernel is by Vikrant82. this has more governor and scheduler to play with. I can compile one with default cm11 kernel. did you try the rom?

I install rom crdroid-4.4.4-20150221-mondrianwifi. Nice very nice. I love dynamic system bars. Do not forget to update new builds please)

Compiling a new build with latest CM changes and this new build will also include all wallpapers/ screensavers / Apollo etc which were left out in previous builds. Shall upload before end of day.

Kernel I understand from CM12 will ?. Was CM12, depletes the battery quickly, and does not work video playback (HW+))

i can build it, but i don't own the device to test the build for bugs etc. if i can find a tester, then i can try to make the build.
