[ROM][SM-T320] UNOFFICIAL Resurrection Remix 5.7.4 (MM), 5.8.2 (N) (4/1/17)

I just installed RR-N-v5.8.2-20170401 - mondrianwifi-Unofficial.zip image along with Gapps 7.1 stock and I keep getting stuck on the welcome screen. I choose setup as new and get errors saying Setup Wizard has stopped, open app again and it keeps crashing and I can't get past the setup screen.

I did wipe everything and installed without gapps and I can get the tablet working but obviously I need Gapps. I tried to downgrade from Gapps 7.1 stock to Gapps 7.1 nano and still the crashing and can't setup the tablet. It looks like it's something related to Gapps. I'll keep at it. Does anyone have any suggestions that may help?

After reading over the last pages of the thread I opted to try the stable v5.7.4 and gapps 6.0 nano and things are working now.

Thanks.., saved me some headache'... if this 7.1 nougat rom starts working i wanna know...

btw did you try the 7.0 gapps or just the 7.1 gapps?

holy heck finally my battery lasts normally with this ROM!

was running lineage and battery would die while it was plugged in!

Is the beta RRMix 5.8.2 it? No updates for over 1 yr. I did see a 5.8.3 also but it is also 1 yr old & just around 2 weeks newer than 5.8.2.....

No more RRMix for the SM-T320? Do have the RRMix 5.8.2 installed & running fine for what my use in mainly reading ebooks.

Just an FYI...

Stable v5.7.4 and gapps 6.0 nano was taking like 5 minutes to boot up driving me crazy.

I'm now running v5.8.2 and gapps 7.1 nano and it boots up quickly and still does everything I need it to do which is play videos for my kiddo.

you can stop all major services form start-up and the boot will be fastest like 10sec... go to memory , apps started on boot and disable start at boot for every apps

Have u tried to underclock to 1704,i got 6-7hs sot

Yeah it goes to 100 % i charge it when turned off , how to underclock ? i have balanced profile too on settings

    Guys, sorry I haven't been around much lately, had a few things on the home front that needed my immediate attention (especially the raccoons in my attic... I hate those things). Haven't done a new build because, frankly, not much of consequence has changed since the last one. I did notice, however, that someone reported that the 1/16 build of LineageOS broke root. Newer is NOT always better.

    All,

    In the limited free time I had, I tried to do a new build last weekend, but something in the commits didn't play nice with the RR base, and honestly, I haven't had time to troubleshoot, as I've been filling in as the unit's First Sergeant the last couple of weeks. Might have a little more time when our actual diamond-wearer comes back next week and I can give him the phone back. ;)

    New version uploaded; see first page. Used new device tree from @phoval, and linked sources to LineageOS repo. Most existing bugs fixed as a result. No more Settings FC, videos now work. May have to format data/media if you get hung on boot animation.
