Already downloaded and installed yesterday, and it is perfect, also i have edited los 13 kernel and added many governors from s5 and many i/o schedulers from s5 too, and added charge charge level interface (charge speed control) and that charge level interface, made my tablet charge faster and charged to 100% and also with new governors and i/o schedulers i got a perfect battery, now 4hs sot and 50% battery

It is not a rom, it is a kernel, sorry i can't post it these days because my internet is too slow because i have reached the 150gb limit my speed now is 20kbs/sec

Anyone have any idea why I can't create a new account in Snapchat? I just flashed RR, as well as the latest TWRP and latest Magisk. In Magisk I checked the option to use Busybox and Hide Magisk from apps, then checked Snapchat in the Hide list. From what I understand, Snapchat checks for root and won't allow logins or creating accts on rooted devices, but since I told Magisk to hide from Snap, I would've thought it would work, but no luck.

So you just answered your own question. If SN isn't passing, Snapchat isn't going to let you log into an account.
The Nougat version of this ROM, as well as the stock Lineage Nougat for this tablet, doesn't pass SN. I don't think anyone has figured out exactly why. Magisk doesn't magically/automatically work on every single ROM in hiding SafetyNet.
It fails both parts of SafetyNet, in fact. Basicintegrity I've never been able to fix. ctsProfile surprisingly does not get fixed with the many spoof modules out there, but you CAN get that to turn positive if you run a certain module in Xposed. Which then of course makes it impossible to pass the basicIntegrity part (not that it was passing to begin with).

First of all, thank you for the great ROM.
I just installed 5.7.4 for my tab pro 8.4. I noticed that it boots up way longer than usually. It looks like it struck at starting app, then reboot all over again. Eventually, it boots ok up, but need more than 2 minutes. Any advice?

so did you ever post this? and is nougat camera and torch working on 5.8.2 or?? I love this rom but I want to have camera and torch... and I also want to be on 7.0+ so is that possible anywhere?
I've been seeing the same thing. It may have to do with the sdcard and partition checking. When I take the card out it normally boots faster. Best ROM for me otherwise, so I learned to live with it.

Question: how does remix rom deals with Sdcard?
I mean, I usually use the external Sdcard as a storage unit for files that apps instaled directly on the internal memory of my device. Example: I have ComicRack running on my internal memory but all comic files are stored in the Sdcard. The same for PDF reader and other apps. I tried to install cyanomogenmod 6.0 and for some reason the Sdcard only allows to be used as backup for pictures, documents etc but apps are unable to read them. So, how does remix behave on this?

If it's an IMG file you install through TWRP, if it's a TAR file, you install through Odin.

I hate those things). Haven't done a new build because, frankly, not much of consequence has changed since the last one. I did notice, however, that someone reported that the 1/16 build of LineageOS broke root. Newer is NOT always better.

In the limited free time I had, I tried to do a new build last weekend, but something in the commits didn't play nice with the RR base, and honestly, I haven't had time to troubleshoot, as I've been filling in as the unit's First Sergeant the last couple of weeks. Might have a little more time when our actual diamond-wearer comes back next week and I can give him the phone back.
