I tried to install cyanomogenmod 6.0 and for some reason the Sdcard only allows to be used as backup for pictures, documents etc but apps are unable to read them. So, how does remix behave on this?

Depends on the Android version. It works OK as media storage in this ROM, all apps that can use media storage can use this. The ROM also has support to format the SDcard as internal storage but whenever I tried this, the card would fail after a few weeks, even using best quality brand cards so I can't recommend.

    Guys, sorry I haven't been around much lately, had a few things on the home front that needed my immediate attention (especially the raccoons in my attic... I hate those things). Haven't done a new build because, frankly, not much of consequence has changed since the last one. I did notice, however, that someone reported that the 1/16 build of LineageOS broke root. Newer is NOT always better.

    New release! See original post. This will likely be the last MM release from the Resurrection Team, but until we get Nougat, I'll fiddle around with the other tweaks I need to get in as I get time.

    All,

    In the limited free time I had, I tried to do a new build last weekend, but something in the commits didn't play nice with the RR base, and honestly, I haven't had time to troubleshoot, as I've been filling in as the unit's First Sergeant the last couple of weeks. Might have a little more time when our actual diamond-wearer comes back next week and I can give him the phone back. ;)

    New version uploaded; see first page. Used new device tree from @phoval, and linked sources to LineageOS repo. Most existing bugs fixed as a result. No more Settings FC, videos now work. May have to format data/media if you get hung on boot animation.
