I plan to build the ROMs monthly for all of my daily used devices to get the latest security updates.
If I'm having new files for gtaxllte and gtaxlwifi I will post it - hopefully there will be no problems with the builds in the future...

Strange wifi problem
Flashed this ROM and all appeared to be working well. Signed in to my home wifi and it worked without any problem. But lastnight I went to my local pub and signed into its wifi hotspot. Connected and had full bars on the connection but no internet. So I signed in with my Android phone and it worked. Then signed in with my Surface Pro 3 with Win 10 and it also worked. Re-booted the 580 and tried again. Still no internet.
I have a Netgear Wifi Hotspot that I use when I can't find wifi, so I turned it on and connected to it with the 580. Internet connected with no problems. Can't figure out what's going on. I'm going to re-install stock and try it the next time I go to the pub and see if I still have a problem. But I know I've gotten internet on this tablet at this pub before. Many times.

I experienced something similiar too, but only with the original ROM of this thread, not with the more up-to-date ROM by cschsz. Also in my case a restart fixed it every time.
I justed tested it with my home wifi.

I'm using the one dated 20180320. As far as I know, that is the latest. And a re-boot doesn't help.
EDIT: Turns out it is not this ROM causing the problem. Getting the same result using latest stock ROM.

I have a samsung galaxy tab pro 8.4" and games like clash royale was too buggy for this tablet.So i flashed LineageOs 14.1 and the tablet now is smooth and clash royale works fine like my S7 Edge.
Today i bought a galaxy tab A 10.1 2016 and when i installed clash royale i saw that is too laggy to play.
If i flash lineage Os also will i see tne magic too like tab pro?

Further CPU-speed of samsung galaxy tab pro 8.4 is around 40% better than Tab A so I guess
it would be not as good as on the pro. Otherwise "googeled/samsunged" versions of Android
are busy doing things for only them on your device so if you flash LOS without(!) gapps it should be
always faster than a stock rom version.

Didn't work... Still buggy
The Tab A is not the fastest tablet. It is useful as a media device, and for browsing the web. For games it is rather bad.
Great news! It would be nice to make it official. Will it work for SM-T580? Is OK to dirty flash over the 12/31 version? Thanks!

I did just that without any problems! Its a great rom.
EDIT: I own the SM-T580 and used the rom for that, but i guess that shouldnt matter.

I've just tried to flash on my SM-T580, but twrp is showing error 7, I guess I need a different rom version, just like in the OP there are separate versions for SM-T580 and SM-T585.
I am no sure whether you are referring to Cschsz. But he *made* 2 different Rom's. One for the LTE version. And the other for the WiFi version. Which is performing without errors as far as I can see
The links in the OP are for the latest ROMs and are the ones you need to flash. I can assure you that the one for the T580 is working. If you are getting an error, the problem is on your end and NOT with the ROM.
I was referring to the builds by @cschsz which are newer (March security) than the ones in the OP. The versions for T580 and T585 are in separate posts, which is why I missed the correct one. Just flashed my T580 and it works great, huge thanks to the devs! Would be nice to make it official.
While I greatly appreciate another dev such as cschsz adding their efforts to enhance the Tab A, it gets very confusing when what is essentially a new ROM, is added to the thread of an existing one. Which one has the problem? To which one is a given post referring?
If it is going to be a continuing effort, then perhaps a new thread should be started. Or if it just an attempt to keep the existing ROM up to date, then maybe consulting with the original dev to get them to add the changes to the existing ROM and updating the links in the OP?
This is NOT meant to criticize anyone. Just a suggestion to clarify the situation.

If you want to check firmware - please make backup. Better to store all partitions, at least efs and may be modem.
Now I can recommend the firmware for daily use.

1. Install custom recovery - use my twrp
2. Download the zip(s) - firmware and Google Apps additional package (optional)
3. Backup all partitions (it least efs) and store somewhere - it need to do - because you can loose imei
4. Full wipe all
5. Flash firmware and gapps

Settings -> About tablet -> press 7 times "Build number"
Then Settings -> Developer options -> Root access

This twrp - this is official 3.1.1.0 for wifi version, I had repacked it with T585 info.
A first line in any lineage firmware - version check, in T585 it's should be gtaxllte. With this twrp it's correct.

Thanks to LineageOS team15New version - now with bluetooth (I had spend a lot a lot of time to fix it), fix sdcard as internal storage (update config, fstab and kernel) and update overlay framework values from original stock values (correct values for ril, wifi, bt, lcd and brightness).
