I think the problem is, that nobody will see the link to the forked repository, because it is not in the first post. And the most people won't read every single post. We will see if @Valera1978 accept the pullup-request...

I would like to know what @Valera1978 is thinking, but he never told us his opinion ;)
And the community here is split - some are happy about the updates and the others want only builds from @Valera1978 in post #1 which I can not provide...
so it is ?

Just open a new thread ..

I doubt Valera will have time to build regular Nougat builds anymore.

You can not make everybody happy .. just do your "Nougat ROM build service" like you want !

Cheers

You asked, and if he doesn't answer within a week I think it's fair to start a new thread for your updated rom - Especially if you would like to provide updates to 14.1 in the future :)

Hi Everyone,

I installed 4 device of SM-T580 this morning. These devices are now working very nice. Now I don't have to struggle with slow Wifi link speed anymore.
All devices are constantly connected at wireless-AC @ 5Ghz without dropping link speeds.

The reason I have 4 of them for my business in warehouse team needs parts picking information with constant data connectivity to our server.
Sometime it drops less than 50 mbps. Worth one is less than 20 mbps.

Before we had issue with wifi speeds drops and unable to connect to server. Wifi had terrible issue for us to handle these device.
Also, Stupid Samsung keyboard won't stay away from default settings no matter how I change input settings.
We have to use Bluetooth barcode scanner at same time and we need to type and sending message by typing to google hangouts but when barcode scanner connected to these tablets onscreen keyboard won't toggle anymore. I did change settings to show virtual keyboard for when physical keyboard connected but it never toggled with original OS.

Since I installed this everything working fine!!

I would like to thank you for everyone in this place!!

I'm not responsible for any damage to your device of any sort.
By flashing this you take responsibility of anything that happens.
Process at your own risk!

If you want to check firmware - please make backup. Better to store all partitions, at least efs and may be modem.
Now I can recommend the firmware for daily use.

Instructions
1. Install custom recovery - use my twrp
2. Download the zip(s) - firmware and Google Apps additional package (optional)
3. Backup all partitions (it least efs) and store somewhere - it need to do - because you can loose imei
4. Full wipe all
5. Flash firmware and gapps

Root
Settings -> About tablet -> press 7 times "Build number"
Then Settings -> Developer options -> Root access

Work
Ril, wifi, sound, vibra, bluetooth, camera, sdcard, gps, mtp, otg, flashlight

TWRP

SM-T580
Use official TWRP from: https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxytaba101wifi2016.html

SM-T585
This twrp - this is official 3.1.1.0 for wifi version, I had repacked it with T585 info.
A first line in any lineage firmware - version check, in T585 it's should be gtaxllte. With this twrp it's correct.

Thanks to LineageOS team
Works great, rooted with Magisk and installed xposed.

But every time I try to open the developer options in settings the settings app just crashes.

Don't know if anyone else have this problem and I'm not going to read 38 pages of replies just to find out.

I was thinking about the boot lockups some have described, and because they seem to occur so randomly and don’t seem to be reproducible it might be some kind of race condition.

Is anyone having problems playing Flac encoded music with the default music player?

Hi, I've been using lineage for a while and I love it. I recently switched my ISP. My laptop connects fine to the wifi, my tablet which is running lineage 14.1 keeps dropping the wifi about every 10 to 15 seconds. I wiped the tablet and installed stock rom and the internet held up fine. I wiped again and went back to lineage and im having the same issue again. Is this an issue with my new ISP or just the rom not agreeing with it for some reason ? Sorry if this sounds stupid. I just don't want to go back to stock. Love the rom. Thanks

Just had a boot loop noticed a message on the screen first time I've seen it. System UI has stopped working was given a prompt to close message. Behind that message was a fast boot screen with normal choice reboot system, reboot recovery, fast reboot, or reboot download mode I just rebooted system and booted okay apart from my wallpaper.
