The last thing I want to do is have some stupid argument with someone. Over what exactly? On one hand I give you a lot of credit for knowing what you know about Androids. On the other hand I wonder just how smart you are by how I seemed to have noticed you were talking down to me like I was someone beneath you. I find it funny that you think you know how I am in any way shape or form. You may notice in my initial comment to you was not rude so where is this attitude that YOU are expressing towards me coming from. For what reason is it? Check this out kid. I will not have this kind of discussion here on XDA. Whatever your issue is. Do not argue here! That would violate their policy.

Hi,
The first part of your post is exactly what I'm thinking, but I don't see how you're giving much credit. Notice the tone of my reply before my latest reply. I stated that you appeared to be expressing stupidity, not directly saying you are stupid in anyway. I'm saying what I think based purely on what you replied, and did not make any assumptions on what you're like in real life, only the impression you're giving me. I fail to see how your reply wasn't rude, as you were replying and demanding answers (for what I assume you thought was just for you, but it was actually for everyone even though I didn't say so.) in a condescending manner where you manage to find something hilarious. Assuming I am a "kid" just to make some type of point is an extremely bad thing to be doing for reasons of integrity on a place like this forum.

Finally, I really hope we don't have to take this further, but out of respect for the OP of this thread @Valera1978 who did great work getting LineageOS to work on this tablet, you can PM me if you really need to take this further, but it's of course, not ideal to do so. The forum rules don't really disallow arguing, as long as it doesn't get too over the top, political, and other things. Have a nice day.

Edit: in reply to your latest reply, I accept and will try to communicate better. I'm glad we've reached a conclusion. In your latest replies, yes, you have been saying so, but I myself am still learning lots of things about both Android and the Linux kernel, I think I still have a lot to learn and I don't think I am anywhere near writing code for blobs, but sure. I share knowledge with people who may need it and report findings on issues I report if I can find anything. I would've preferred a PM, but what's done is already done and everything is fine.

Note to self: In many cultures, including and mostly 'Murrican culture, politics is an addiction that causes the urge to bring in politics where it doesn't really belong (such as unrelated social media comments and even work causing conflict) for a considerable amount of people. Many other people (that are apolitical or just able to spot such people and know why it's somewhat annoying) point out people that bring politics into places where it doesn't belong, but it doesn't really end well with continuing arguments. It's not really something that can be stopped for as long as politics continues to be significant. Nothing against these types of people, though, I'm just going to move on.

My apologies if we seem to be taking each other as somehow rude. I am not trying to be. I have stated many times that you seem to be quite knowledgable of things Android. Actually I'm kind of impressed. I would never think that post here are specifically for me unless someone is giving a direct response. I wish I knew close to what you do and maybe this would be a lot easier for me. I'm working on it. Maybe if you have time you can learn me a few things considering I was trying to tell you what I know of programing is ancient compared to writing data blobs for Androids. But that's what this place is for on some levels. I wasn't trying to be political by saying where I live seems to bread stupid Democrats. If you're not from this Country It's difficult to explain. Most of the time my attitude is jovial. So we misunderstand each other at first. I'd hope for better communication between us henceforth, fair enough?

Do have a technical questions, maybe someone can help.
I am running version 580 with LOS 16/Builddate Dec/11/2019 - thanks ahead for this! I love it.
Nevertheless I do have some trouble with the flip cover. The TabA seems to be very sensitive. So if I open the Cover it wakes up - fine. But if I flap it for 360° (so to the back) it goes off again. It seems the magnet field is there to strong or the sensitivity of software to high.
I couldn't find the switch to disable the flip cover handling? Can someone help me?
As a maybe even better alternative - is it possible to adjust the sensitivity/threshold of the sensors?
Thanks for any hint.

You can just use latest one (December). It is stable.
Only would like to know howto disable flipcover functionality.

Installed TWRP-3.3.1, format data, wiped system, data, both cache, and then flash the following 1 at a time. Reboot

lineage-16.0-20191211-UNOFFICIAL-gtaxlwifi.zip
open_gapps-arm64-9.0-nano-20200124.zip
Magisk-v20.3.zip

The device boots up and I see the animated blue logo. Stuck for 1 hour.

Stopped, reboot. Again stuck for an hour.

What could I do to fix it?

Thanks

Repeated the steps without flashing Magisk. Still stuck in the blue logo animation

Problem is the Gapps files, its some kind of bug reported. isaw it on reddit. Ppl are saying not to use version after 17/01/2020 on 9.0 releases. Ill try...
One thing that i already managed is to boot the lineage OS without the gaapps and do not install the twrp app when the recovery asks. Just reboot without that option enabled

Thanks for the info. I just flashed the ROM and it booted up in a couple of min. Which version of gapp are you going to try?

Solved that with EdXposed (canary) and a module.
If I would have a wish - a security update from time to time would be nice. Not all things work with LOS19 (and I doesn't mean the ROM itself, but also microG, Xposed ..), so there are good reasons to keep LOS16 for a while.

I apologise if this has been answered but I can't find a reference to it, if so:

Do I need to be concerned by "this build was signed with public keys" and "SELinux is not enforcing"?

Is there any way to rectify this? If not, advice on what I should not be doing on my Tab A6 in order to reduce risk?

Grateful for any help.
