Thanks from me too. Until now no problems here. Incredible battery life, sot about 8 hours. Unbelievable.
So far battery has been fantastic for me. Last year I tried a couple of different 64 bit Pie roms on this device. The ridiculous battery usage has always been a dealbreaker, and there was also this weird issue with frames being dropped during transition animations, and scrolling. None of those issues are present here as far as I can tell. I've always had to go back to stock 8.1 soon after I flash these, looks like I'll be sticking with this one for a while.
Update: I get around at 14 Hours of screen-on time. Most of that screen-on time is streaming videos. I have all Google services enabled except Google Assistant and the Google App.

same here over a few days. wórks really fine.
if the buttons would still disable now I would be very happy. that totally annoys me because they react very quickly to me
Incredible. I thought my battery life ist great.
In comparison to my other devices it IS great - no question.
installed this on my t580 and have google assistant no connection problems.
also ok google module update always showing in notifications, I did a full whip and still have the issue.

New builds are up with security patch level of 2020-08-05. See first post for more info.

Thank you very much for your work! Will update soon. There is one question remaining. I use Traccar client on our systems. Works fine on LineageOS running on Samsung A5 2016. If I install on 585 it empties the battery very fast and if i use a older version (5.18) it does not get GPS position. Unsure if somebody else uses this one.

Trying to install the newest lineage-16.0-20200810-achalmgucker-gtaxllte-signed.zip on T585, TWRP is giving me an ERROR: 7.
Silly question: Are you sure it's a Galaxy Tab A (2016) with 10"?
What version of TWRP do you use? It should be a recent one.
If so, what ROM did you use before? Some ROMs use a different fingerprint (device type name) and you may not be able to dirty flash this LOS 17.1. In that case yould would have to erase the system partition and install LOS 17.1, gapps and Magisk (if you want) new.
Edit: It is LOS16 of course! Sorry.

Yes, it is the right device.
I'm using TWRP 3.4.0.
I had some Bliss ROM before, which had issues, so I tried to change to LOS 16. I've had problems with LOS 17, too, so I thought I'd try 16.
As I said, the latest file lineage-16.0-20200810-achalmgucker-gtaxllte-signed.zip gave me that error. I did erase everything except the external SD in TWRP.
I then tried the older file lineage-16.0-20200714-achalmgucker-gtaxllte-signed.zip, which worked.
Sorry, when I said LOS17. 1 I meant of course 16 for this ROM. I mixed it up. Sorry!
To fix it just remove assert lines from updater script and it will flash normally.
