I keep getting an error when installing.

Digest failed to match on '/external_sd/lineage-16.0-20201108-achalmgucker-gtallte-signed.zip'.
E:Aborting zip install: Digest verification failed
Error installing zip file' /external_sd/lineage-16.0-20201108-achalmgucker-gtallte-signed.zip'

I have a SM-T585.

Try to re-download the zip and the md5 file. Both files have been uploaded correctly (the hoster's calculated MD5 sum is the same as written in the .md5 file itself "926673a2447140ede415031e4c3933cc").
And why are your file names "...gtallte...", they should be "...gtaxllte..." with an "x" in the middle.
If you did the naming in this way, then the MD5 file would not fit and the error occur.
Good luck!

Okey it worked now, redownloaded the zip and md5, and put them both in their own folder instead.

Hi @Klaerchen
While updating to the latest update I noticed
"xiaomi/sagit/sagit:7.1.1/NMF26X/V8.2.17.0.NCACNEC:user/release-keys" mentioned at the very beginning of the flashing process; this got me really worried I was flashing a rom not intended for the device (on reboot I realized everything was actually fine).
Thought you may want to correct this to avoid any confusion / wrong - reacting from users...
Thanks for your hard work & dedication to the device.

This device fingerprint was chosen by the original ROM creater Valera1978 to achieve a "device is certified by Google Play" status. If the fingerprint would read s.t. like samsung/sm-t585 then it would be "not certified".
I'm not quite sure how important this certified-status really is (as long as you would not use Google Pay and this tablet does not have NFC, therefor not relevant). I never changed the fingerprint.
