Just to confirm is there an option in the latest Oreo build to change the keep Wi-Fi on during sleep option?

anyone can help me with the camera (stock one, but also open camera) none of these works on my SM-T585 on this orm. I received this message : media server has stopped.....or camera critical error. I tried also with Lineage OS and the error was the same, but it works with samsung original firmware. I deleted the cache of the camera app but no changes, reinstalled the rom more times and no solution either. Any idea?

Did you read about the camera in the OP? No one knows anything more than that.

of course i read, i hoped someone knew some different solution. Just tried Footej camera and doesn't work.

I've had a similar problem which was fixed when I clean flashed the whole rom after formatting the whole device.

i reinstalled the rom wiping everything probably 10 times but still no luck :/
Got same problem for gps (sm-t585). ofc i read the op. Any news about it?

GPS will not be fixed by reinstalling the same ROM a few times.

Known issue .. On LTE version and 32-bit only.

I have uploaded older 64-bit RROS Oreo ROM now !
Pls test GPS on this ROM.

No idea when it will be fixed on 32-bit.

I wait for Samsung Oreo firmware .. depending on the ARCH .. I may change Oreo too.

Maybe we go for 32-bit WiFi and 64-bit LTE Oreo builds later on.
Not clear now .. Oreo development is frozen.

Once Samsung releases Oreo ROM the blobs will be updated one last time.
For now security updates only.

Camera has been confirmed working after clean install.
Pls see a few threads above.

There was a noticeable choppiness for me, like it was running at 20 fps or something. It was very noticeable during transitions and videos.

Just transfered a photo from SM-T580 (RR Oreo) to a Nexus 10 device (AOSP Pie) - via Bluetooth.
No pairing issues and no transfer issues.

No ideas about Wifi direct .. did not test it now.

If you find bugs, pls let me know - directly and not a few months/releases later.

The SM-T580 for the kids has been migrated from RR Nougat to RR Oreo a few days ago.
My "best" testers have started to "kill" the RR Oreo build.
No complaints until now

after installing latest oreo build and twrp, charging goes up to 92 % only. disconnect and connect usb, it charged from 92 to 100 % in a few minutes. i think, there is something wrong. t580 32 bit oreo.

I noticed it too, but in my case its only sometimes not everytime.

As you know we made kernel changes in summer to fix this issue .. You actually did test kernel changes for battery changes.
We still use the same kernel today.

I noticed it too, but in my case its only sometimes not everytime.

Right now I have 2 sm-t580 devices running the RR 6.2.1 build - I get always 100% over night.

Have you both tested any stock Samsung firmware in the last time ? (Nougat or Oreo)

For the moment no changes .. we need to monitor it more closely.
