Just clean flashed this ROM on my T580 and it seems good so far -- Thanks!



Installed this kernel and when rebooted I just had a blank screen for a minute or so (previously the start up screen came up quickly). I took a quick partial adb logcat and saw what looked like trouble so I backed it out. I wasn't sure if it was looking for T585 hardware and balking or what.



Sorry .. but the kernel is supposed for ROMs using new mali drivers (r22)

Like you tested .. It will not work correctly on current RR Oreo version.
If you test AICP ROM you will be able to use this kernel.

Maybe in system info tools like aida .. etc.
Need to check myself.

But there is no real need to install extra kernel anyway .. every new ROM contains all the latest kernel changes too.

My WLAN connection is perpetually interrupted every few 10 seconds. This occurred already with the previous ROM builds and with two different routers. The problem does not occur with other WLAN devices like my smartphone, so I conclude it must be the SM-T580.
Anybody else experienced this?

Have 2 devices running this build without any wifi issues.
Not sure if we can replicate your issue.
Did you try clean install too ?

You can use crDroid v.5.0 instead RR. crDroid is same RR, but have less garbage.

If after download rom you can open this zip-archive via file manager(for example ES file manager) this mean that all OK. All very simple

Is it possible to add more lockscreen shortcuts, in addition to the two shortcuts in the bottom corners on crDroid?
I'm not sure if it's possible to do that on newer RR versions, than nougat, either, but I hope it is.

Can someone please tell me how to download the Magisk zip securely and make sure it is not corrupted? I have not found any checksum anywhere and no gpg encryption key to verify authenticity anywhere. The zip does not even pass twrp zip signature verification! ???

Tried this a little, and was beginning to think that gps is not working properly, because opening the GPS test app with location enabled froze the device. The same happened after a restart. Then some strange things happened while trying to restore a previous rom, but nevermind that.
But then I installed Valera's lineage 16 and the gps test app behaved the same at first, but after awhile it startet working, so maybe I just wasn't patient enough with your rom..

Anyway, I might try again some time, today does not seem to be a good day for me and rom flashing
