Reinstalled the CrDroid 6.7 Rom. Now GPS works... Needed some time to find the satellites but it did. Don't know why.

As SDK level increased to version 32 you have to use new gapps for Android 12L.
Pls check latest opengapps builds here ..

I’ve tried so many things now,
Edited qemu prop.
Installed magisk aosp tools,
Tried some overlay hide navbar thingy

But the bar is still there and it’s also overlapping all my apps, so I can’t see active app bottom buttons… really annoying.

I have installed AOSP taskbar hide by Coxxs and that made it so small that it’s not an issue anymore

ARM (v7a) = 32 bit.
ARM64 (v8a) = 64 bit.
T580 is 64 bit (arm v8a) so you will want to use the arm64 version.

I've clean installed 8.10 and have noticed that crHome launcher sets itself back to the default launcher upon reboot.
Also having switched on 'Disable HW keys' (and rebooted), the hardware buttons still work.

I tried coxx's Magisk module 'hide tablet taskbar', which worked after a bit of back and forth, but still the hardware buttons were still on.

Anyone else having these issues?

On t580/t585 it is not possible to disable the hardware buttons, because they are (on a hardware base) enabled/disabled together with the touch screen. So enabling the touch screen enables the hardware keys.
It would be necessary to suppress the generated "key strokes".

If you have root you can edit /system/vendor/usr/keylayout/sec_touchscreen.kl

Only set "#" in front of key185 and key254. Reboot and you have disabled the touchkeys.

Try this, if you are rooted your device.

Hi,
I've just updated from 8.5 to 8.10, actually the battery level stops at 90% - also in twrp it is shown with 90% - I think it seems to be an error in the loadcontroll of this image?

In the 8.5 it works fine, and I've changed nothing else.

(I'm using the tablet to show a custom-UI to my fhem-smarthome - and there is an automatic to switch on or off the tablets power-supply automatically)

I just updated and encountered the same issue.

The only thing I've found is how to "minimize" it by touch&hold on it and swipe down. I have not figured out how to remove or configure it (in my case it holds different app icons than shown in that screenshot).

It seems like something is squirrely with the launcher integration/operation. I had lawnchair launcher installed before upgrading. I can't install another one and make it default or delete lawnchair.

If anyone has found anything I'd be interested.

I have installed AOSP Mods (Full version) (install with magisk)
And found a way to minimise it.

You can also undock all icons making the bar and unusable gray space of half a centimeter.

But I’m happy with it like this.
