The Rom runs very smoothly. The bug I have is that I can't remove the navigation bar, the option to disable it doesn't work.

There is a second option to remove it in the “crDroid settings” section. That one should work.

Finally it wasn't the navigation bar, it's the taskbar of the crdroid home application.
The only thing that doesn't work for now is waking up the device with the home button as others have reported.

And all the latetst crdroid changes for Android 13 .. including April Google security updates. But still no wakeup using the Home button ..

- Permissive SELinux

INSTALLATION:
1. Boot into TWRP recovery (3.7.0_9-0)
2. Wipe system and do factory reset in TWRP (format /data if encrypted)
3. Install ROM.zip
4. Install Gapps (arm64)
5. install Magisk.apk (Tested with version 26.1)
6. Reboot into system

Hey @followmsi I've ran a few of you and Taluatxda ROMs now and up until yesterday I was rolling with Lineage 18.1 as my daily driver until I saw this .
I have installed nova launcher to try and smooth the home screen to my liking . is there anyway to get the hardware buttons back or at least get rid of those floating bottom arrow , circle and square ?

There will be no builds for SM-T585 (gtaxllte).
But you can install the 580 (WiFi) builds onto 585 (LTE) devices as well.
The ROM installer has been changed to allow installation onto 585 devices too.
Of course, all Mobile stuff (LTE) will not work. GPS and Vibration will not work due to different hardware.

Reloaded everything with correct Gapps. Appears that tablet is not connecting to internet. It is connected to my wifi...

It's hardly an issue but, after many years of using this tablet, it's natural to hit the home button to switch on right? A 'nice to have' really.

Yeah, it's an issue for me as I use an old J5 as well which also has the home button... so going back and forth between the two it's hard to remember the Tab A hasn't got the home button functionality. But here's hoping it gets fixed at some point when there's less of the important stuff to do.
