@lobotron: Thank you for your links. Root with superuser is working now (didn`t try SuperSu). And yes, I tried ADB and it is working.

For all who want gain root again and don`t want to use the playstore:
After you have installed root as described in the links above, you can get the superuser.apk (and busybox, +afwall, orbot...) through the f-droid repository or directly from their f-droid.org page (since Pierre-Hugues Husson doesn`t provide an apk on his page). Make sure to get the "black #"-one (vers.Version 1.0.3.3 phh), the other one is outdated.

During the clean installation of LineageOs I encountered some minore issues:
-I couldn`t install the zip ootb with TWRP. /system and /data was "not empty" and permission-issues or sthg like that, but could be fixed within TWRP.

-First I had to flash TWRP.img to boot, then flashed Lineageos.zip. Booting to Lineage did`t work so I had to reflash the Kernel (boot.img within the LinneageOs.zip) and it worked. Booting to recovery gave me the stock cyanogenmod-recovery as expected, so i had to reflash TWRP to boot (not to recovery), install TWRP-FOTA.zip and reinstall kernel. Now I can reboot from the shutdown menu (change settings) to recovery. but I can`t boot directly into it with "Vol-" or "Vol+".

But there is a critical error, too:
These very ugly shadows in Homescreen on top and bottom i can`t get rid of. PLZ help ;)

Thank you, Adrian DC and all the others very much to let LineageOs happen.
Q: Just out of curiosity: Is Kernel-Chainloading with twrp secondary multirom possible? I did this to boot a custom-kernel for LXDE on a tablet...

@lobotron: And yes, I tried ADB and it is working.

good to know but very strange in a way as my phone connects perfectly with fastboot but does not connect via USB in any way, at least since cm14 but perhaps longer. What could break USB connectivity?

: but I can`t boot directly into it with "Vol-" or "Vol+".

Perhaps a matter of timing, as I see the led showing up steady green I just have to push once

Funny that not only me need root for the AFWall, apart from this I would be happy having a device without root for now.

Have you tried to generate a new RSA key fingerprint?
- Connect your XV to PC and enter <adb devices>
Output should look like this:
List of devices attached
AB123C4DEF device

To generate a new adb-keyfile do the following:
-Detach your phone from usb
-Remove old keyfiles:
On Linux:
rm -f ~/.android/adbkey ~/.android/adbkey.pub

On Win:
Have a look in C:\Users\*username*\.android and/or C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\.android and delete the files called adbkey and adbkey.pub

-Reconnect your phone
-Restart adb-server (adb kill-server, adb start-server)

On your phone, there should appear a popup to accept the new rsa key.

Perhaps a matter of timing, as I see the led showing up steady green I just have to push once.

OMG! This is soo embarrassing. Thank you so much! Maybe i just fiddled to much with other android devices and their strange "recovery-button-fingerbraking-rituals".

OK is it possible that you own a "Xperia T - Mint" and not a "Xperia V - Tsubasa"?
Than you are in the wrong thread, and you should take a look at the [ROM][BRINGUP][7.1] LineageOS 14.1 for Xperia T thread ;)

can somebody help me ?
Where is my error ?
Greetings

Hope it will help you :)

hi
thanks.
didn't know there exits a Model T.

Compared those models with these specs.
phonearena.com/phones/compare/Sony-Xperia-V,Sony-Xperia-T/phones/7462,7332

in definitly have Lt25i xperia v. I have LTE, same look, waterproof case,...

So i will try the original Lineage 14 tsubasa again with TWRP 3 and post the result

edit:
First I totally destroyed the phone because the only way to stop the update process was to remove the battery.
Didn't boot to anything after that. Only the Sony logo appears.

But with help of the official sony Xperia Companion and the reperature feature i was able to install a new android 4.3.
So some bootloader remainde undamaged.

Rooted my device with towelroot.apk

Installed the official TWRP APP
The App told me my current device is a "tsubasa"

After that i flashed TWRP with the official App. Worked.
But i couldn't boot into the recovery mode.

Then installed SuperSU v1.99r4
activated SuperUser
!! Now the TWRP App tells me my device is a "mint" !! why ? <--any ideas

Flashed again the TWRP recovery for Tsubasa.
Result: i can't boot into the recovery mode.

Firstly, you need to unlock your bootloader before doing modification Recovery mode, custom ROM, etc..

@tom_lt25i Once unlocked, just flash the TWRP image as boot with "fastboot flash boot twrp.img",
boot the device (TWRP only will boot), then Factory reset, Flash ROM & additional things + FOTA TWRP zip.

Please use the Q&A thread for basic installation questions please.

Also note you should not (and never) mess with anything from one device to another,
mixing Mint & Tsubasa ROMs, recovery or even rename things in the zips are totally out
of question and to be avoided... If it had to be done, it would have been explained in the explanations.

that's what's strange, fastboot devices looks like this, but as it comes to higher level I neither see XPERIA V in file manager nor adb devices. There is just nothing. Several tuxes don't report anything in dmsg.

Another strange behavior is: After I plug off my headset the phones microphone does not work. After a reboot it's OK again. Anybody tried?

boot the device (TWRP only will boot), then Factory reset, Flash ROM & additional things + FOTA TWRP zip.

It would be nice to add this advice to the installation overview, it's easy to oversee to flash FOTA TWRP zip which means TWRP is gone after a reboot.

The remaining CWM recovery can't flash so you will have to start over.

- New unify_userdata package generated to handle the same purpose
- restore_sdcard updated & both rehosted in a new folder
- Reliable CyanogenRecovery from Snapshot 13.0 kept online as safe working recovery
- Lineage Wiki informations updated and will be merged soon with the informations needed

Camera-app org.cyanogenmod.snap v2.0.002:

-Focus Continuous-picture is working, user focus (touch) doesn`t, while user focus is working properly in other app (opencamera). Bug just app related.

-"30-image crash-bug" apears with other apps too (opencamera)

dmesg output:

lowmemorykiller: Killing 'yanogenmod.snap' (10772), adj 0,
to free 266248kB on behalf of 'kswapd0' (69) because
cache 72596kB is below limit 73728kB for oom_score_adj 0

Q: Did someone upgrade/made a clean install with an ext_sdcard in mixed mode?
