Hi. First of all, thanks, AdrianDC, for developing and supporting the firmware for our phones. Excellent work. Thank you.

Now about my problem: since last year's April firmwares (I tried the official Lineage, RR OS, AOSP ..), i can not switch network mode from LTE to 3G, 2G.
LTE in our region is unstable, that affect on battery consumption..
When I switch nothing happens). Rolling back to previous firmwares problem disappears. Is it a known problem? My phone is SXV LT25i
P.S. Sorry for my English).

I tried the ROM and it runs smooth, except that when using MHL to connect to TV, the audio is extremely in low volume, but there isn't any ways to adjust that. The volume bar can only adjust media, ringtone and message volume and all of them are not related to the audio comes out from MHL. Any idea how to fix it?

I've been having some trouble with location with this ROM on my Xperia V:
- even if I install the non-gapps version of https://github.com/microg/android_packages_apps_UnifiedNlp into priv-app (since this ROM, AFAIK, doesn't have the 'allow other location provider' patch), I can't get it to register with the system
- since I installed the August update (over the earlier April release, I think?), my GPS hasn't worked at all (GPSTest does not get any satellites responding, HERE Maps never finds a location)

If I was feeling keener, I'd look at some logs or switch back to April to confirm, but it's ok for now. Just thought I'd report and see if anyone has any suggestions.

PS Thanks so much for keeping this phone up to date!

The better GPS fix i had on my Xperia V was on lineage-15.1-20180626. Latest august release for me is a step backwards GPS side, but after a quite long and (sometimes) difficult first fix i always get a good and stable signal. Things can go better by using TopNTP app and finding the better gps.conf setup for your region. With this trick i get almost 4 m precision on open air, which is pretty nice for our good old phone. :)

Just found my ex-GFs Xperia T in the drawer. Soft bricked.
Flashtooled some version to stock, works.
Now just flashed aosp8. 1 and it's booting :D

Edit: after some 30minutes of booting it is still not doing anything else (but booting) is this normal?
case is well warm so I'm guessing it is still calculating something...
'top' via adb shell says some 100% CPU time for system_server...

So maybe I'll have a tinkering phone again

Good job!

    About the release
My Android 8.0 bring-up started in April with my AOSP Master project.
Master being the mainline public Android development, it helped getting
most of the hardware requirements for the next Android release prepared
and ready for the evolution along the weeks. Though 8.0.0 introduced
more hardware changes and improvements, it was ready for about 75% of the needs.

Full details about the initial boot are explained here : #post73504552

Q : Is the ROM suited for daily usage ?

A : Long press the Settings icon in the notifications drawer.
    > You will have access to the SystemUI Tuner from Marshmallow.

Q : When USB is connected to a computer, I can't access the storage ?
A : The phone is in charge-only mode by default (since Android Nougat),

A : Normal issue common to all devices, yet to be fixed.
