Hello, today i bring to you another alternative to those cappys like mine that don't do good with cm9+, this is a lite version with gapps, glitch kernel included and the awesome RibbonICS theme that gives this CM7 ROM a new life.

If you're not attached to a CM9+ app then give this ROM a try, you may then be happy one and for all with your phone like me.

CHANGELOG:

ROM released - v1.0 - 9/13/12

- Tweaked build.prop
- Added Titanium Backup, modded Music Mod apps
- Various patches including ICS lockscreen, notification layout, camera
- Gapps + New Gtalk
- Removed all tts, live wallpapers, rom manager and other apps
- Roboto fonts
- Holo Launcher v1.2.3
- RibbonICS v1 FREE theme

NOTE: If you have Holo Launcher Plus i recommend idear theme for Go Launcher, the icons look great.

INSTALLATION:

- Full wipe
- Flash Cappy-CM7-RibbonICS v1.zip ROM | md5: 0b741eec73cf2b7eefabcbbb7b8f93ba
- Flash update-cwm-layoutPlus-patch.zip
- Reboot. Enjoy!

- Whenever you want to restore a backup of this ROM you must flash update-cwm-layoutPlus-undo.zip, reboot then flash update-cwm-layoutPlus-patch.zip and reboot again. If you don't do that you'll get bootloop.

No comments after a rebirth of CM7? Definitely worth a shot! JB too buggy

EDIT: I tested it and unfortunately my Market crashed upon launching and my Browser is unable to download files (it also crashes when prompted to download a file).

EDIT: I tested it and unfortunately my Market crashed upon launching and my Browser is unable to download files (it also crashes when prompted to download a file).

Sorry for that is the download manager ill upload I fixed version as soon as I can. I think ill change to ZduneX25 layout instead of the one it has right now. I've also got to build cm7 from sources yesterday but haven't had the time to test. Ill try my best to test today. Also testing v6 supercharger works great, ill include it too

First flash the undo patch attached, reboot phone, then flash the patch attached.

That fixed my problems. But I'm getting quite a bit of battery drain. My phone would wake up at random intervals consistently as shown by the battery graph. I dropped 40 percent in 4 hours of no screen usage (I was sleeping).

Later, I noticed that some processes were crashing and force closing in the background with the random vibrations. Lemme try cm7 ans see if its my apps or this rom.

hmm i don't have those problems, battery drain yes quite some but the rest not at all and i've been using the ROM for over a month now. I have had those random wake ups with cm9 and cm10 but i found it was app related, make sure to restore apps without data and fix permissions if u want. I'll make some tests tonight.

It was something with me. I switched over to CM7 with the new kernel and was getting weird bugs. Sometimes the power button would screw up and a tap would register as a long press and sometimes it wouldn't work and processed would be force closing in the background. It happened rarely but the battery was still a lot worse than my experience on ICS/JB. Back to them now

I need to get that new iPhone soon.
