Had the same problem & now figured out. Use Gapps from here & it works fine. (I used mini modular package)

I dunno if it's just the MS version V or my Gapps, but I've got the "Downloads" working now.
PA Gapps also fixed calender sync issue. :angel:

maybe silly qestion:
while using a full screen app (my example is GolfStar game) I cannot see the notifications bar or tiles pushing down from top of the screen.
It was possible with my previously Omni rom.

Is there any setting about that I don't see?

reflashed as guided in the first post ..

but i tried many different themes i get system ui close so much that it makes me unable to use my mobile

i love this rom srsly .. its the best i hav had since owing this device for years ..

but please can anyone just tell me what settings in themes should i use to avoid this system ui force closes so constantly ..

(getting google play services/store force close too)

m waiting for someones avice/help so i can continue the flawless experience of this amazing rom

okay as u say i will do that and see how it works out

(though i already got rid of that problem by going back to default holo theme with custom lockscreen wallpaper from gallery but i love changing and swapping themes so i will act on ur advice and see how it works for me)

For recent app switcher i m using the Slimkat recent apps mode so can that maybe too the reason(or only reason) causing system UI force close as i did as you guided and adviced(untick lockscreen in theme packs and been using holo default theme) but yet after sometime i get system UI force close ... it just wont go away

Yes that might be a cause too. Did u try reverting to default recent apps switcher? Does your systemUI FC's are still a lot or reduced? Try wiping cache and dalvik in recovery just for the sake of cleaning the old caches away and see if it helps.

I use slimrecent as well & I don't think that's the cause of it. Themes work fine with me, but I also have random systemui fcs & I think we have to live with that.

Pls update, If you got something.

And can anybody tell me, if the latest build has fixed themes problem when installing xposed framework. :angel:

The system UI FC are reduced .. i can use my mobile pretty easily but the FC exists .. specially as soon as i unlock the device after a while im greeted with system UI FC which takes me back to lockscreen again and i unlock the device again and it works flawlessly until the next FC .. :/

i flashed just ysterday the latest biuld with cache and dalvik wipes but i would still do the cache and dalvik wipes again and see how it works out and if the problem still exists then yeah m gonna revert back to default recent app switcher and see does that help or not..

Reverting back to default recent app switcher solved the issue of system UI FC ...
i really loved the slimkat version of recent apps but default recent app does the same job as slimkat version was doing so everythings CooL again

Btw , From Few Days I am Unable to get Playstore working ..
While on other devices at my home its working

when i open playstore it says :
NO CONNECTION
RETRY

how can i get it work if u have any advice olz do share !

Go to settings-App settings-All-clear data of playstore and Google services... Reboot ur phone... and after it has rebooted completely, open playstore and it will ask for permission... accept it.
Hope it helps u as it did helped me with same issue..

Just a thought, Have you tried booting into recovery to wipe dalvik and cache and rebooting back into system?
What gapps are you using please?

I believe the ultra slim version is the recommendation on the OP that appears to be unavailable as it is probably being updated.

Trying to get back in to some roms for my Note, daily mobile is HTC One M7, this rom looked good for the Dolby sound. Same there is never ending FC of Android System. First started FCing when using Apollo, when changing tracks, then when ever the screen was turned back on, it is like a FC loop that never ends. Oh well, hope it can get resolved for those that will continue

I have been using ultraslim gapps

and i did what u both adviced me to do but it didnt worked so then i read on internet to remove ur google account in settings and add back again so i did removed but now when i try to add it the playstore and gmail apps open and closes immediately :/

and whenever i reboot my device i get this Google Play Services error 4/5 times (attached the pic too)

please guide me how to make it work as now with no google account i have lost all my contacts and gmail too
