You can try to uninstall play store via titanium gold and then reinstalling via a pre downloaded play store apk file but it
Looks like a painful option maybe needed.

Full wipes ie dalvik cache data factory reset etc.
Then install ROM
Install ultra slim gapps
If you are like me,wipe dalvik and cache again and reboot into system and hopefully this time will be ok

I wiped cache and dalvik

and then flashed ultraslimgapps(53mb gapps) and now everythings working fine

Hello everyone.

I've been using this ROM since last months ( i guess). N right now I like to update, from 20140723 to 20140731.

When I like to install it, the process immediatelly show message if the installation was aborted. I don't know why.

Here are the steps that I followed from the 1st page.

- reboot recovery
- install zip - always failed to install the zip file...

Is there any step that I missed? Please is there anyone know what should I do? Or have the same trouble like me?

You could try wiping dalvik and cache and rebooting to see if that fixes it. If not, I fear a clean install is called for ie full wipe dalvik, cache factory reset etc..
Install Rom
Install ultra slim gapps (as per OP)
Wipe cache and dalvik again
Reboot.

I am getting many FCs, any idea why?
Specially when and while using whats app,,while typing, phone hangs badly, and then i gotto to remove the battery and reboot

i have used the latest build.
V5 Forest Kernel.
and am using swift key keyboard.

Trying to get back in to some roms for my Note, daily mobile is HTC One M7, this rom looked good for the Dolby sound. Same there is never ending FC of Android System. First started FCing when using Apollo, when changing tracks, then when ever the screen was turned back on, it is like a FC loop that never ends. Oh well, hope it can get resolved for those that will continue

I've totally got rid of systemui fc.

1) I don't use Ultraslim Gapps, I've tried using many Gapps & the perfect one works without any problem is, PA Gapps. I suggest you guys try that.

2) Using freedom app may cause trouble for Play Store. If you did use freedom app, try stopping that and check if the play store problem is fixed. (Still, prefer PA Gapps)

3) The systemui fc caused after unlocking screen is because of the lock screen wallpaper. You should avoid applying lock screen wallpaper when applying cm theme. Now if you have applied already, what you can do is, Use a launcher which applies same wallpaper for both home screen & lock screen. (I used google now launcher & after applying wallpaper from home screen, the system ui fc is fixed. Haven't a single fc till now & it's 4 days already.)

I dunno if I'm quite sure, but I had some problems with Forest Kernel 5. And I tried some other kernels as well & felt slowed down & hangs in some kernels. SO it might be a kernel based issue. So, just a suggestion, try a different kernel.

I'm now using Slim Kernel.

Yes, because not enough people donated, they couldn't afford to keep running there servers... as they had requested. We're lucky because they warned 2x builds prior that we'd get no more builds, but luckily had 2x since then. But alas no more...

Pity, as there's was one of the most feature rich. Sure it could of some with a massive tidy up... But nothing was missing...
