You removed HTC Setup Wizard. It enables USB connection popup wizard (don't know if it contains the popup itself or just set a flag for enabling the popup that is located in another apk...probably PCSCII.apk).

You can use Settings.apk from CleanEclair 1.5 to solve Personalize FC (point Background selection to Launcher's Activity name instead of Sense's Activity name).
Connect to PC FC is probably caused by the removal of HTC Sync (i think it's PCSCII.apk) when you click "Connect to PC" it calls an activity that doesn't exist.

I could be wrong, but this is what I've understood from testing with and w/o wizard/pcscii: the wizard controls the popup. If you dont have the wizard. but do have pcscii, "Connect to PC" wont FC - it just simply wont do what you choose in the list. pscii mainly handles the HTC Sync, but is also needed by rhwe wixard to get connectivity. So, in all, both the HTCWizard and PCSCII are needed to have full connectivity possibilities. I am thinking about adding the default Google Android wizard instead of the HTC one anyways.. maybe that would work as good (or maybe not.. but at least to test it).

This I have no plans for (not right now anyways), as you easilly kan do it yourself by flashing the zip here. Not all people want this, so I will leave this stock and let everyone choose themselves :) (or are there any other modifications that needs to be done to get it to work? Don't use it myself, so havent checked!)I have the same reason to not include Live Wallpapers, one zip is all it takes for anyone who wants it! :eek:

I'm not quite satisfied (that will never happen :D)! The plans I've got aren't so big, mainly to readd the setupwizard and PSCII (resolve sync/pc connection issues), add back TTS services and maybe change the settings menu (remove the options that cause FC). So what am I waiting for? hoping that the 2.05 sources will appear, or better, HTC Stock Android 2.2 (yeah, right, that will happen soon?). I'm also experimenting with some optimized(?) memory values to see if I can get anything else speeded a bit. Its an endless Work In Prograss :D

Good job! it seems that your ROM get a lot of praises...

Btw, does this ROM solve the issues where by it will automatically connect to mobile network after we disconnect the wireless even though we disable the mobile network options in our phone settings? This problem happens quite frequently in other ROMs which I had tried.

Thanks :) Trying to keep is as clean and simple as possible!

As for the WiFi/Mobile Network bug, I had no idea it even existed (I dont use WiFi at all myself normally).. But I just checked, started the browser while connected to WiFi, turned WiFi off, lost connection to network entirely. So, the bug does not seem to happen with this ROM - atleast not for me! :D

Crash in settings

Just rooted my phone and installed your rom. I read about it and it seems to be very good. Now, I still bumped upon a problem.

When I go to
_ [settings -> personalize -> scenes]
or anything else in personalize, the process com.android.settings force closes.
The same happens when going to
_ [settings -> accounts & sync]
where I cannot enter at all.
Same at
_ [settings -> Search]

Any idea what could cause this?
