Android is an open source software stack created for a wide array of devices with different form factors. The primary purposes of Android are to create an open software platform available for carriers, OEMs, and developers to make their innovative ideas a reality and to introduce a successful, real-world product that improves the mobile experience for users.

Supported Models:

• A500CG (T00F)
• A501CG (T00J)
• A600CG/A601CG (T00G)

Prerequisites

• Install the Intel USB Driver for Android Devices and ASUS PC Link
• Download all the required files
• Extract the system 7z archive with 7-Zip
• Unlock your Bootloader by using this tool

Installation Guide

• Download this and extract it
• Put boot and system img files into extracted folder
• Put your device in fastboot mode and connect it to PC via USB
• Windows users can run Installer.bat to automatic flash ROM
• For Linux users: Open "Terminal" and run the following commands (one by one):
  fastboot flash boot bootSTOCK-WW-3.23.40.52.img
  fastboot flash system systemAOSP-5.0.2-20160913.img
  fastboot erase cache
  fastboot erase data
  fastboot erase userdata
  fastboot reboot
• Optional: Flash Open GApps (via Recovery/TWRP) before the first boot.
• Optional: Flash SuperSU (via Recovery/TWRP) to Root your device.
• Optional: Flash Xposed (via Recovery/TWRP) if you like it.
• Optional: Relock your bootloader after flashing the ZIPs (for freezed users).
• Optional: You can flash this Kernel to use special features like "dnfix, slockfix, modemrestart" (Recommended for non-freezed users)

Bugs:

• Small delay when opening some videos
  Workaround: Use VLC or MX Player.
• APN can't be autodetected
  Workaround: Set APN manually
• Video recorded in 1080p lags
  Workaround: Record videos in 720p quality
• GPS does not work
  Workaround: Try using A-GPS/Mobile Location
• FM Radio does not work
  Workaround: Try using TuneIn Radio, a lot of local radios are already there

The main target of this ROM is people with "unlocked bootloader problems". It's because it works with stock kernel and locked bootloader.

It's not a bug. Dual SIM support was added in Android 5.1

Yes, I can't fix it because lack of dual sim support for Android versions before 5.1
But both sims works fine.

Hi.
You can use this modded version of Device Name Fix.

1. IMPORTANT: Install SuperSU! You need a rooted device! AOSP is NOT pre-rooted!
2. Download Device Name Fix (there's a Download ZIP button if you need)
3. Extract/copy the file dnfix.sh to /system/bin/
4. Update permissions of dnfix.sh to 0755
5. Open a Terminal Emulator and run the following commands:
   

   su
   dnfix

Feel free to share a screenshot of the result, it'd be nice to have a feedback on this.

Why do you want updates for this ROM? It's good enough, there's no reason to update it.
And 5.1/6.0 will not be able to use on Locked Bootloader.
