Hi! I have a problem with my K30-W on that ROM (and on other custom ROM's on Pie). When the cellular operator’s signal disappears, there are problems with the sound and sometimes I need to restart the phone in order for it to find the signal again. Sorry for my English =)

It depends upon what band airtel uses to throughput the signals if the band isn't supported by device modem then forget it, its never gonna work until you manually unlock all the available bands, And Stop this Bro stuff.

Just hit airplane mode twice it'll restart the modem and you should get signals if that doesn't work for you download the syslog app and root your device click on all the possible options in the syslog app and generate logs upload the zip here I'll look into the logs also before all this could you post the screenshot of your baseband version just to be sure that you're on the right modem, I've heard K30-W uses a different modem and if that's the case then it'd be hard to support unknown modem firmware without having the device courtesy of K30-W being almost a exact clone of A6000 allows the builds to be cross compatible

Actually this device won't support dual 4g..
If you use Jio+Airtel, Jio works only on 4g so airtel is switching to 2g/3g..
So if you want to use airtel 4g..remove jio sim completely from device and put airtel in slot1 and in internet setting select LTE only and you are good to go..you can use 4g in a6000 only this way(removing jio sim completely from device)

When my phone powers up, everything works fine. I can unlock it and the screen is 100% responsive. But as soon as it either locks due to inactivity or I manually lock by pressing the power button, the touch screen no longer works. My only courses of action is to pop out the battery to restart the phone. In such a state I cannot even answer calls as a swipe is required to answer a call. This is the problem after flashing pie based roms. On oreo rom everything was fine. I was earlier using pixel experience oreo rom. What could be the possible solution? Thanks in advance. ☺️

Turn Off dt2w from settings->display->tap to wake toggle, If possible please try to provide the logs for this condition since I don't have the logs for this, I can't fix it, Its known to happen with people using non original vendor touch panels, A solution for them is to disable the dt2w.

Once this issue is hit and someone can get me the logs, I'll try to fix it.

Could you also confirm Harshit whether your display has been replaced or not with some breakage or something?

Error 7?

Apologies for the previous post. Was using the outdated version of TWRP (3.1.1.0) and getting Error 7. Sorted now. No way to delete the post so editing it.
Cheers!

Loving the Pie

BEST ROM ive tried so far since Kitkat stock (lol). Thanks DEV.

> got some reboots while using default browser and UC browser. Maybe because of high ram usage by UC (250mb+). After force restart, cant use UC anymore.

> Is there a compatible kernel with LOS16 having cpu hotplugs? All cpu's active even when idle. Lost 4% of battery before phone deepsleep.

Other than that, thank you so much for making my 1gb a6k taste this awesome pie.

Experience for 1GB ram users is about to get more better I have tuned the kernel to perform even more smooth and I've added hotplug that'd automatically hotplug the cores when screen is off and limit the frequency to 400mhz, I'll soon roll out update but before it I need to test OOM(Out of memory) killer its seen that apps with heavy ram footprints cause 1Gb ram variant to reboot while the 2GB variant works fine Let's see if we can make 1GB more lively.
Roms that are shipping with june kernel patches should already be reflecting huge gains in pref of Ui/Ux And I/o

Thanks DEV! Take your time.

Nice, is it a hotplug that turns off some cores or all cores still active at 400mhz when screen Off?

By the way, I noticed UC Browser only becomes unresponsive when trying to make a text input (e.g. Search box in webpage, username or pass input box). Maybe because the keyboard cant popup making it unresponsive. My fix to this is to pull down the QS panel to make the keyboard be able to popup.

Ucbrowser is not a trusted browser...its already removed from playstore once and after updating some policies it came again..
Each time you update the app, it ask for "Agree and enter"..we don't know what permissions they are taking..if you are ok with compromising your privacy then only use it..else switch to chrome or brave browser or any..

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

    Frequently asked questions.

Q : I get error 255/7 while flashing from recovery
A : Flash using correct TWRP.

    Q : How do i flash rom?
A : No rocket science Just wipe /system /cache /dalvik's cache & internal storage from twrp, Then simply flash the rom package and reboot.

Q : Can I dirty flash the next build?
A : If you are upgrading from previous builds of this rom to the current builds then O'course you can dirty flash by just flashing the new rom package , gapps package and wiping both the cache partition however i advice you to refrain from doing dirty flash. Follow the instructions if posted after a build drop and flash the package accordingly if instructions explicitly mention about clean flashing.

    Q : Where do i get compatible gapps/ I can't signIn into google play?
A : Get your Gapps from OpenGapps.org, only use Pico or nano! If you want my support.

Q : Is root access included in this Rom?
A : No it is not. Some testers have had success with Magisk though.

Q : Can I flash ABC mod? Does the ROM support it?
A : Yeah sure, but I will not support you. And no, the ROM probably does not support it.

    Q : Android go, when?
A : Decided to disable it for now for good

    Q : Is VOLTE supported ?
    A : No.

Q : Is the ROM suited for daily usage ?
A : Yes, Looks like all basic daily usage stuff is functional.

    Q : WHEN UPDATE?? GIB UPDATE PL0X.
A : I only post updates when there's a decent list of changes. I'm a college student and there's only so much I can do. Please do not spam my PM regarding this.
I will not respond to any messages demanding ETAs

    Time for update.
    • August kernel & Android Security Bulletin Patches merged
    • Past kernel changes & optimizations of last 2 month
    • Completely Shifted to arm optimized routines
    • Update android math libraries from freebsd OSS
    • Fixed Dalvik's value not being applied sometimes.
    • Initial sepolicies

Note:- Dirty Flash from previous lineage build is fine but after boot give device time to settle down, might take 2-3 cycles for phone, Clean flash is recommended if you are migrating from other rom that includes wiping even the internal storage.

If you are on the last stable build you should be getting ota for the current build and you can update directly from there.

Time for update(More perf bump!!! Enjoy!)

    Read the changelog:- here!

    Downloads?
    Method 1:-
-> People on the previous build should be getting a OTA notification or can manually check for update via the updater app and can update from there.

    Method 2:
Those who want to update manually can download the build from my basketbuild folder (Linked in the first post of this thread) flash it from recovery and reboot.

    Clean flash?
If you are upgrading from previous build to the current build then there is no need of doing clean flash, Just simply flash the new package and reboot. If you are coming from some other rom you have to do a clean flash that includes wiping your internal storage else your bug reports would be ignored.

    Harsh!t Jain
