Thank you very much for keeping the S7 alive, I do have an echo problem with this rom, caller has echo, I have installed incallechofix and it has not helped. What info could be usefull to correct this problem?
As far as I know you can't use Lineage recovery, you need TWRP. Then just download the zip and flash it through install (assuming you have another version of this ROM already installed).Hey, i have some problem with the Updater.
Does the OTA function turned off?
I installed the Build from October out of the forum on the first page.
The Updater always shows No new Updates found, although the new Build of November already is online?
Can i download the new build manualy and flash it in the Lineage Recovery via Apply update--> Update from internal Storage?
for all who have the same problem I had the same, my sim was old i just replaced it with a new one I went local office of my mobile operator for only 3 euro I got a new one sim(the same phone number of course) and I no longer have a echo problem.
but that would not explain why the echo is not available for some with a headset.
Will anyone help in my case?Hello Team,
I have to ask you for help in my case, specifically I installed this rom according to the instructions, but I ran into some problems.
At first I installed the latest TWRP by ODIN, however after rebooting I got bootloop. I backup the original samsung roms with TWRP and then installed LineageOS 18.1 and it all booted up nicely and worked fine.
Now I want to go back to the original samsung rom, however when I restore my system backup in TWRP after reboot I have bootloop again.
Do you know any solution to fix this problem and get back to my system from backup. Or how to unpack TWRP backup files to be able to read files - folders with files. I was wondering if I can restore the backup and it will still be bootloop, can I install a clean bootloader from the original samsung rom using ODIN?
Thanks for any help
Would you mind to share your exact kernel version of the working kernel? Also, do you have a link handy about how to replace the kernel with a self-compiled one? I know about kernel development in general, but never did that on my phone ...
Sure, go to Settings, System, Updater, Preferences and disable update recoveryI want to replace my Lineage recovery permanently by TWRP.
Flashing Recovery via Heimdall works fine but the Lineage recovery always replace TWRP after Reboot.
I tried to flash the TWRP.img in TWRP but this was overwritten too.
Is there a possibility without a clean install of the Build?
Somebody knows a easy way?
I had this issue with whatsapp video too. But I dont think the issue is connected to video chat. There already was an issue with recording video for too long, where the camera would stop working and you would also have to reboot to make it work again. Seems the same issue to me. Its not a dealbreaker for me tho.
