I can confirm. Most 'privacy sensitive' apps need a clean reinstallation to work properly.

System apps usually get their permission set from default-permissions folder, but you can try to reset app preferences found in settings:
I cleared its data & cache, then re-installed it. Still the app crashes when i receive the sms with the 2fa code. Which is the same behavior (so my log is still valid).
No problems here.
Had a complete fresh / clean install.
Does it happen if you disable 2FA?
After setting up the google authenticator instead of sms i could log in and set up my fingerprint. However on the following login attempts it takes my fingerprint, is busy for a bit and then throws me back to the fingerprint input.

Yes, they're still present, you can override the slowness, at a price, or you can have faith in Ivan and wait for him to stabilize the ROM.Not Working

No issues so far, also battery last longer as 17.1, but w/ my company phone, I can't use TWRP w/ encryption, since can't mount data. Is it working for anyone?

Sorry, encryption/decryption is not supported officially, if you need root, you can simply flash it using an external sdcard, Magisk can detect your encrypted partition.
It has some workaround for gaining root with keeping encryption, maybe by putting everything on /cache then copy to /data, IDK exactly how.
You can try your luck with command <twrp decrypt PASSWORD>.
Been using this for a week or so. No issues. Very smooth and great battery life.
For those who mention the in-call echo problem, is it happening on your S7 handset or is the echo a problem for whoever is at the other end of the call? I have not noticed it at all from my end but one or two people I have been speaking to have mentioned an echo on the line. Thanks.

I have had the same problem in the previous build, wasn't able to test this one. Apparently nobody wants to speak with me. What worked for me sort was turning down the volume, it almost got completely rid of it. It isn't a glamorous solution but it works (sort off).
I have the echo issue but most of the time people can't hear me whatsoever, I tried a couple of different modems but no dice.
I have had the echo problem for a while and I call my landline and leave a message to check. It was so bad that i could hardly understand myself so i investigated a bit and read that reducing the call volume below 50% would help. I tried it at around 30% and almost all of the echo is gone. I have not changed my speaking level to compensate.
Hey guys, where can I find the previous build of LOS (from around 13/1)? Unfortunately, after applying the latest build today, phone is caught in a boot loop :-( Hoping this could be resolved by flashing the previous working build, but cannot find link to download it here... Thanks!

Before installing January 2021 build remove fingerprints and delete /data/system/locksettings.db this is needed due to mobicore version change which helped fix fingerprint with 3rd party secure apps

Try to download and flash the latest build again and if that doesn't do it hopefully someone can point you in the right direction.

I have an S7 Flat...with 18.1 ..7th April build...and ASUS Merlin with AI Mesh. I had issues with the S7 being the only phone that consistently dropped out. I changed on the router Adaptive QOS, QOS tab...Enable QOS to .off...and on Wireless, Professional Tab..Multi user MIMO to disable. My S7 now is pretty rock solid connecting to my home router...at 866 not 443 Mbps. I did read somewhere that the WIFI chip on the S7...was quite new when brought out and is not particularly stable with MuMIMO. My router is an AX88U...and this also worked on an AC66U B1...hope this fixes it for you...took me months to work this out!2For the issues with reboots and corruption with SD cards formatted with the exFAT filesystem that have been discussed recently, those would be caused by an update to the sdfat driver, used for exFAT filesystems, in the kernel causing kernel panics: https://github.com/LineageOS/androi...mmit/ddba1674688968d672c5529068b8690ee5e79da7
Over on another device, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" (2016), which also uses a 3.18 kernel, I found that the updated version of the sdfat driver (2.4.5) caused kernel panics when writing heavily to an exFAT filesystem (on my SD card) using it. I could very easily cause a kernel panic by, for example, taking videos or downloading torrents to an exFAT filesystem mounted using sdfat. I'm thinking that similar issues are occurring here.
Assuming that the issues are really caused by the update (I can't think of any other possibility), the only fixes/workarounds are to use a kernel with that update to sdfat reverted, or with whichever parts of the update causing the kernel panics reverted or a proper fix to the sdfat driver. We're still using an older version of sdfat, 2.3.0, over on the Tab A.1
Thanks! I've got some problems after that approach with NikGapps (I was receiving an error that Google Play Services must be installed, but it already was installed...). Flashing with wiping data also didn't help. Next, I've downloaded the latest version of NikGapps from Canary-Releases and now it works properly.
Next time I will try your method again, but with latest NikGapps.1Some thoughts. (you need to be connected to the 5.0 GHz WIFI)
1) Can you test your phone on another wifi network to see if the link speed on the phone is 866Mbps
2) Can you test your phone on your wifi network (with the Lyra Voice switched off) to see if the link speed on the phone is 866Mbps (i.e. your phone directly connected to your AC86U)
3) Can you test your phone on your wifi network (with the Lyra Voice switched on) to see if the link speed on the phone reduces from 866Mbps to 433Mbs (and can you see through AI MESH that your phone client is attached to your Lyra).

Due to requests from some users I added signature spoofing support to the rom which allows usage of MicroG
you can simply install MinMicroG and grant it needed permissions for signature spoofing to make it work as intended
