I have the same problem from time to time. My current workaround is to select a different app as "default SMS app" and then switch back to the one you prefer.
it seem it was an failure from my provider (with any phone in my country). now it works*

Hello, I have a clean los reinstallation with the latest version of open gapps the problem that the Bluetooth connection to my car or to my stereo system is so unstable that a song interrupts irregularly every 5 sec and the song stutters. Android auto is probably not usable for this reason.
With 2 different Bluetooth headphones the vervindung works flawlessly.
I hope you can help me and still tickle some life out of the good old S7

Hi, How did you solve echo issue?
I've just moved from 17.1 and I'm finding my battery life is awful! It goes from 75% to 15% in about 3-4 hours, consistently. I replaced my battery about 4 months ago, so I doubt it's that, especially since I was going fine before I flashed this rom. Has this happened to anyone else?
Any known fixes? I thought perhaps it's just reading the capacity wrong but it still takes just as long to charge, and gets a bit warm when running. Maybe I should just flash the rom again, I dunno.
Probably worth mentioning I also have the echo issue, just as I did with 17.1. I just deal with it by plugging in headphones.

As far as I know. Did the default wipe on TWRP before installing the rom, gapps, and magisk.
in my case the phone is solely used with a wired headset. and indeed it is not quite clear if all users of this ROM have the same scenario. i guess the majority thinks it has to be this way

This rom will not be official because it does not meet the requirements of lineageos team and secondly lineageos does not support singnature spoofing. Unfortunately this like rom has this.
To get it officially must be given all the requirements which unfortunately are not present. And honestly it doesn't matter if it comes from Ivan directly or via lineageos server. Ivan does a good job and you can trust this rom.
Another progress update on 12, (we are getting closer and closer)
I figured out a way to boot 12 with current kernel with not that many updates, so expect a build hopefully next week due to my busy schedule, Build should be as functional as current 11 builds, Big thanks to everyone who supported this project as i do this in my free time and coffee keeps me up at times haha

Hey @Ivan_Meler, I know this is too early on, but taking in consideration that the echo problem is something that wasn't solved in this ROM, is it maybe a problem that we can expect to happen in the android 12 version due to technical limitations?

or it might just be false positive1
Thanks for the infos. Update history on the device tells me that there is no lack of updates - a lot of apps got updated recently, including the Google ones. So, seeing the commit you linked to and regularly incoming updates, I chose not to worry (and on top, the CVE mentions that the exploit needs user interaction anyway).that cve is definitely patched

Take a note that a lot of LineageOS features have not been completed yet this is not a device bug and please do not report those
in this rom thread as you will be reported to moderator also do not post bug reports for known issues or bug reports without proper

b) proc/last_kmsg (or proc/kmsg)

d) dmesg
Also do not under any circumstances post bug reports if you are using substratum themes or unsupported magisk modules or you have performed any system modifications
Install gapps right after installing the rom itself dont try to boot to system before that if you want to use gapps
NikGapps and BiTgapps were both tested and working

Due to requests from some users I added signature spoofing support to the rom which allows usage of MicroG
you can simply install MinMicroG and grant it needed permissions for signature spoofing to make it work as intended

Builds were delied a bit this month due to google pushing source and security update itself later than usual but there are a few extra fixes that apply to s7 that are also included like working Wireless display
Updated builds of 17.1 will be posted in a few days too
Also Android 12 is around the corner and once source for that is out I will start working on getting it up and running on s7 thats at this point over a 5 years old device but still can handle new android releases perfectly
