The battery protection feature is great, thanks @Ivan_Meler! Does anyone know how to change the max charge level (currently preset at 75%)? Should be in some config file?
you could write value to
/sys/module/sec_battery/parameters/store_mode_max

keep it mind its reset after reboot so you might want to set up script with magisk that writes to that path on boot and sets it to whatever you want

Re writing a custom battery protect max charge number, what's a good number to choose, 85% maybe? I heard that's what Samsung uses in new phones, anyone else know?

Would you mind to share your exact kernel version of the working kernel? Also, do you have a link handy about how to replace the kernel with a self-compiled one? I know about kernel development in general, but never did that on my phone ...
I now installed the kernel provided by Roberto, but my problems are still there, i.e. hangs in spotify (it reproducibly takes ~30 seconds until spotify is started), fennec takes ages to startup and isn't reactive, too, and connect to web sites is also slow. Occasional the dialog "Fennec isn't responding, Close app? Wait?" occurs (also for spotify).

Also after some time the LED indicating charging keeps off all the time, no matter if the phone charges or not.

I tried enabling the LED via adb root, but modifying the brightness file in sysfs doesn't change anything.

Any hints very welcome.

New build with december security update is out, here is a brief changelog
- Merged December 2021. Security update
- Removed liboemcrypto which was breaking playback in some apps that use drm
- Synced with LOS source
Sorry for a bit of delay in this one, I spent quite a bit more time on android 12 to get things as stable as possible there so updated for 11 are bit later than usual
But here they finally are, Stay safe and enjoy the holidays

Hey there, this is the first custom ROM I installed on my S7.
So far everything works really well, except one thing: my phone will sometimes lose it's WiFi connection for 15-20 minutes when the screen is locked.

This is really annoying in my case, as I'm using it in my smart-home setup to determine if someone is at home. I query my router and check for the MAC of our phones. It's really hard to cook something if your stove gets switched off.😅

This never happened with the stock firmware. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Just noticed the same as ukleinek, LED stays off while charging, but it worked for a few days.

Edit 2: WiFi feels to be "less active" in general (when screen is locked) than on the stock firmware. Coming home there's a longer delay before it automatically connects to my network and my smart-home registers my presence...

First, thanks to the developer for his work :)

Hi guys, I need your help, I encrypted my phone with the build from 05.11.2021 and today when I tried to flash the new build, I saw that twrp 3.6.0 did not decrypt my encrypted partition. My question is, does encryption/decryption not work? And if it does not work, is it possible to revert my encrypted partition or do I need to clean flash everything?

Best regards!

Thank you for your work, is there a way, but anonymously, to donate some money to you? :D

I am using this ROM now and it steems very stable. Does it make sense/Should I update to the newest build? I have made some bad experiences flashing new builds over existing ones in the past and would hate to mess up my config. Also, does a new build reset my magisk/zigysk root? It took some trial and error for me to set everything up so my banking apps would work.

dirty update should work just fine but it totally depends on users config, magisk and its zygisk configs should survive updates with no issues too. Main reason to update would be security update tbh, as for anonymous donations feel free to pm me i have crypto wallet but dont feel like making address public haha

When I updated to Nov rom, magisk reinstalled itself automatically. All my config and xposed remained the same. I just did over top in twrp

I dont use cryptocurrency and it seems to much of a hassle to get into it for this, but I've sent you a PM

I have kind of very low volume on media for some videos, others seem ok, but still overall not very loud. Can I change the media volume somehow without messing up call volumes etc (it seems to work for me without echo issues, so I am cautious to change the wrong things.)

Has anyone been able to successfully change this to 85 yet?
I keep getting an out of memory error in Total Commander with magisk.

you are not supposed to edit sysfs paths with file manager, instead use terminal emulator like termux and echo, or just create a shell script that magisk will auto execute on boot

Thanks so I installed termux, ran su command, granted permission, typed echo 85 > /sys/module/sec_battery/parameters/store_mode_max and that worked.

Do you know how I put this into magisk to run at boot to be permanent?

Edit I found a magisk module Daily Job Scheduler that says it will perform scripts on boot will try that

you could put shell script that echoes 85 to path in /data/adb/service.d/ and magisk will auto execute it on boot, like init.d did in past
