Edmond, OK
Install went well, but it apears this isn't the rom I was looking for. I'm trying to find the stock rom for the Tmobile USA (HTC Sensation 4G) device. Anyone know where to look?

I can confrim that installing the XE rom on a standard Sensation ****s up the Wifi (ie it cannot be tunred on). Flashing a custom kernel like Bricked fixes that. If u want the original kernel, you should flash the non-XE version though, except you really do have an XE.

How did you flash them.
through hboot? or stock recovery?
I came from stock 3.32.401.5 (ICS)
Due to HBOOT 1.27 I used Juopunutbear method to S-OFF.

Then installed 4ext recovery via 4EXT Recovery Control (from google play).

Then put the FIRMWARE file PG58IMG.zip into the root of my SD card.
Boot into bootloader and install

Then put the ROM on root of SD card (3.33.401.6.zip)

Boot into 4ext and install

Then put the 3.33.401.6 Unsecured Boot.img, Root & Busybox.zip onto my sd card

Boot into 4ext and install

restart and done.

Good luck.

Are you S-OFF or just HTC Dev unlocked? If you are only HTC Dev unlocked you will need to flash the boot.img via fastboot or reflash the ROM but go into tools of 4EXT and enable Smart Flash first.

S-ON

Hi,

is anybody here who tried flash this new rom on rooted Sensation XE with S-ON(!!!!)?
I have Unlocked Bootloader, CWM, rooted Stock ROM ICS 3.32.401.105 with SuperSU, but with S-ON and I am scared to do it.

Can I do all parts of instructions in first and second post of this thread?

Thanks!

ya i did but its better to flash 4ext recovery and then buy the app cause it enables you to flash roms with s on its better than cwm many times over, but backup before flashing and wifi is broken, not working .if you dont like it after flashing ,go to 4ext recovery in recovery and wipe your phone then restore your backup
ps not worh flashing find a custom rom witj 3.33 base and flash it at least all will be working

Hello,

I switch my Sensation XE to S-OFF today.
I made full wipe. Next I flash firmware PG58IMG.zip (OK all 4 items), next ROM 3.33.401.106.zip, then next 3.33.401.106 Unsecured Boot.img, Root & Busybox.zip (done - i see Superuser app in apps).

But I can confirm, WiFi not working .. if I want switch WiFi to ON, it switch to OFF imediatelly.

I tryied full wipe, restore my old 105 (WiFi worked), next flash ROM 106 without wipe. But WiFi still not working.

Any ideas or new experiences with Sensation XE + WiFi problem?

Thanks.

Hi,
There is a guide somewhere around about flashing ROM's on S-ON phones, search for it then follow the instructions
