[ROM][STOCK][4.1.2][CMH2] N8010 Stock Rooted Busybox Deodexed (CWM) [05/09/2013]

Hey darkman, I have a question for you or anyone, I was reading online and quite a few people said stock rom is better than custom, so I wanted to basically do this, im currently on hd revolution rom 7 by mike but I wanna run stock again. Now if I go back and restore my tab to factory n then it unroots etc, then if I rooted it would it be exactly the same as this rom? Im in UK

What u read is partly true. Stock Samsung roms are very good. But stock based roms, like the ones you are using are slightly better and give u a few more options.
Stock and stock based roms were much better than asop roms. However the recent ones like revolt rom and so on are fast catching up.

Coming back to your question - yes you can go back to original shipped Rom and you get what u want.

Oh I see, then if the rom im using is as u say better as its actually based on stock (which u jus taught me) then I guess I shouldn't move, but if I reverted back to stock and rooted would it be identical to if I flash this rom in this thread? I mean im in the uk n its a German rom, but that can't make much difference?

This is a German base... but there are many CSCs included.

No you must reflash the Stock ROM from SamMobile.com to get the full Stock Experience !

This ROM is deodexed and the Stock ROM is odexed... if you go back to a odexed you need the reflash the Stock ROM.

Sorry for the confusion, basically as I was strongly considering reverting back to stock, but then re-rooting. So if i did flash the stock rom 4.1.2 and then re-rooted it, would this be the same or very similar to the rom you are offering? Apart from your rom being deodexed? And german based? As i said im in the UK.

Edit: flashed on n8013. Battery mod n8000 and 4 way reboot confirmed working. Thanks again woohoo.

Edit again : my notifications is transparent. Not sure how i feel about that yet. Wifi in notification shows on when off and off when on. I don'thave playstore. Is it bbecause Im on n8013?

Please reflash the ROM without any MODs and confirm if the notifications is allready fine or if it transparent ist?

If all fine ... flash the Reboot MOD and check again!

I think the Reboot MOD make the issues?

Ok. Brb with results.

Edit: ok you are right. Reboot mod was the causing the problem with notification. But I still don't have playstore. No mods flashed.

Came back from cm 10.2, did three times a full wipe but couldnt find the gapps after installation.
Had to install manually gapps for 4.1.2.

Thanks for your work...

Btw. 4way reboot works fine. Hope you get your note back soon

Last week before university starts for me, so here is my question: is this now fixed? Or (yeah i know it is not allowed to ask, but...) when does the fix come out?
Basicly i just need to know if its before beginn of oct. Cus i wanna start the semester with a fully functional tablet, and if you havent got the time to get the fix up before that i gotta start with an unrooted device and probably will look in again in christmas holidays
Also, i dont mean to give any pressure or sth, its just for me if i can start rooting or not
