Here is the link for those who are looking for the stock firmware of ZenFone Max Plus ( Chinese X018D ) that bought from Ali Express and the flash tool for the device.

I bought ASUS ZenFone Max Plus (M1) [ZB570TL] [X018DC] from Ali Express and the seller said that the phone is at global version and they added that the phone is [X018D] or the global version. I search the internet and later I discover that the device has an oreo update so I try to download the official firmware update for X018D from asus support site. I'm plan to do a manual update, but when i put the update file, the device won't detect the update. Then I message the seller about the update problem and the seller said that the phone has no update. Later, I discover too that the device is not a real global version or X018D, instead it's a X018DC or the chinese version of the device. So, when I try to flash the official global firmware, after flashing, the device has appeared to be no mobile signal whether I restored it's IMEI properly. Then, I try to flash the device's chinese stock firmware and after the flashing my device mobile signal was back but the problem is the firmware is in chinese version with chinese apps, but there is no google system apps. So, I message the seller about that and I am thankful that they provide me the stock firmware and they send me that firmware link to my google drive. Now my device is back to normal again, except for a problem ( read below ).

**Note Before Flashing**
>Please make a full backup of your NVRAM. As I experience, after flashing for times, I properly flash and restore the IMEI except the serial number. Until now I can't find a solution to write and restore the serial number.

**Calling for development**
>>For long searches about the device, later I discover that unlocking the bootloader for this device is impossible using the ASUS official bootloader unlock tool. The unlock tool is work only on real X018D global version. Maybe this firmware can moddified to unlock it's bootloader in different ways.
>>No root for the device until now. I hope this firmware can develop, soon.

Try to update to latest firmware from Asus and nothing happens.

yes it is because the real model of the device is X018DC not X018D which is the Global version that has oreo update..

I use SN Writer and choice smartphone with c2k and then modem files from firmware. Barcode is SN.

Thank you for the firmware. The phone works, sellers with aliexpress did not want to give it. Parallel laid out on 4pda.ru

Have send a ton of mail to Asus and this is what i get back. I Just want a working version of unlock tool for bootloader.

From Asus frontline support/it - 2019

It plays a big part if it is bought in Sweden or China. The tool listed on our website
is the only thing we have unfortunately.

What do customers think?

the seller on ali reply me bout some tricks. maybe on x018dc..flashing on x018dc chinesestock and doing something codes or unlocking bootloader using unlocktool or codes on adb whike on orig firmware of device may do something rather than doing tricks while git onto this firmware i uploaded.

Take some files from MR crazyhearts Rom and some files from Rom [up_vnROM.net]_WW-ZB570TL-14.02.1809.67-20180926 and you have working phone but i cant get it to burn Serial number, IMEI, WIFI and MEID.
There is problem now...
