I do not recommend updating, and I recommend keeping the stock rom!
Bad update, after updating to the latter rom the wifi has worsened, the unlocking with fingerprinter is slower, problems with the connection lte, and performing a performance test with antutu, the score fell by 10,000 points !

Ok, but the zip file with this firmware also include instruction in Chinese, and flashing update.zip is only the first step. The second is to flash files via fastboot. Firmware will become 20S after flashing those files, I suppose

I tried the second step as you wrote (flash files via fastboot using Start.bat or 第二步多刷_音量下键+开机键.bat), but after restart, rom ver is still 5.8.001D (Dev)

Can someone explain me how to back to rom 20s??

Hi, I tried to get my stock 20S, because I've deleted some system apps, and forgot to do backups (all that caused my bluetooth stopped working). As I said - my stock firmware was 20S, I have flashed the 01D via update.zip, and flashed that chinese .bat file via fastboot, but nothing happened, I still have 01D with chinese apps after reboot. Any ideas why?

It all worked for me exactly like the first posted describes
I flashed the update.zip and got on the 001D rom.
Went to developer options and enabled "OEM unlocking"
Restarted to fastboot mode and opened the .bat file with chinese symbols.
Then i check if my bootloader was unlocked in fastboot with "fastboot oem device-info"
"Device unlocked" and "Device critical unlocked" were "true"
i then flashed the x722 twrp.
Restarted to twrp and flashed Genesys 26s

Everything works perfectly now!

You have to flash Batyan's dev ROM from this thread over Gearbest's 20s, because you can't unlock Gearbest 20s, even though the OEM unlocking option is present. Follow the steps listed in the first post of this thread carefully to avoid a bricked phone.
